you caught me, I needed to find a reason so I could feel more comfortable being poor with my lagdroid and lower class in life :(
FTFY, literally ever other OEM can make well designed unbloated phones.
Samsung's mass-budgeted marketing campaigns worked really well, that's honestly the only reason why they're so sucessful right now.

I hate Jolla. It came on the scene and took over Windows Phones hipster status.
Glorious iPhone casual race.
Atleast I don't experience stutters when scrolling and everything is silky smooth, compared to an Android phone with a quad core.

Or so you think.
Personally I don't like to own a phone where they want to have total control over where I get my programs from or have the final say on what I can do with my device.

OR software bugs that effectively brick the phone. There's was/is a bug in iOS during activation where it would ask for your SIM PIN code, and then proceed to say "wrong pin" without even giving you the option of entering anything.
The only way to get around this was to take the SIM card out, put it in another phone to disable the PIN code, and then back in the iPhone. Truly mindboggling how they could miss this, seems like they rushed a lot of things with iOS 7.
Finally really back from my root canal. In my painkiller induced stupor I ate an entire giant package of dried mangos. There was so much fucking brown rain I thought I was going to take off like a rocket. Hydrocodone may not do much but it makes me woozy enough to think that downing like a pound of dried mango is a good idea.
Basically, I had some crazed woman drill out the entire insides of one of my teeth then I had the squirty shits so bad I thought I was going to explode.

In my opinion Windows phone 8.1 gives you the smoothest experince.
I love my Lumia 930.

How's that Arch install going on your phone?

I fell for it. Really disappointed in my S4. Might pick up a G3

I just flashed my S3 with Cyanogenmod personally, seems to be doing pretty well. Might get a Note 3 soon and do the same.
Got myself a Nexus 5.
It lasts a hell of a long time in battery power compared to my old and rock solid S2.

I don't have any problem with the software. Froze all the bloat and really only use it for web browsing. I'm more disappointed in the phone itself
iOS has better scrolling physics than Android.
Android still feels unfinished to me, though I'm glad that they're finally fixing some of the long standing problems.
I would change from Android back to jailbroken iOS if Apple would just release their darn 5.5" phablet already.
I lurv my phablets and anything below 5" seems abnormally small.

I'm thinking of going to a bigger phone as well from my S3 (My hands are rather large). G3 seems seriously tempting at this point.

What the hell. I got a root canal, and though I had to get it over three sessions (it was really bad) every time it was too painful to handle I just got a shot of local stuff straight to the gum, which only numbed that and the cheek for a couple hours.
How come they have to knock people out/get them stupid on general opioid analgesic for the same procedure in other countries with better healthcare?

Well, in the US, your insurance typically pays for the fee. It's rather expensive, but better insurance does cover it. And with higher fees come better equipment, better doctors and more extensive overall treatment.
[editline]19th July 2014[/editline]
Typically what a lot of people do is knock up their insurance plan before getting a large medical procedure, get it covered and knock it back down again. This turns a $4600 procedure into a $100 one, plus insurance costs. Root canals aren't that expensive, but are still expensive.

Besides some insurance that anyone with a job has and is paid by taxes (basic stuff, not part of a "dental plan" or whatever), I paid $60 for my root canal. But what I'm asking is: If my procedure was painless and didn't require my entire body being numbed/under the effects of potent analgesic, how come it did in the US?

It's generally because people in the US would prefer to be more subject to stronger pain-numbing opioids as opposed to dealing with the pain from a dental procedure and you generally also do get a choice between just local and general anesthetic for a good amount of dental procedures such as wisdom teeth.
A lot of people just prefer being totally drugged up during a medical procedure, but I think you can ask not to be and it would be reflected on the bill. It is a comfort thing.

Why would you want a general anaesthetic for a dental procedure?
Why would you want a general anaesthetic for a dental procedure?
I dunno, I'm kind of a pussy and have never actually went for any hospital or dentist ever outside of being born and regular checkups so I chose a general anesthetic for my wisdom teeth removal. It was like being in and out of the room in around 2 minutes.
I guess it makes sense if there's a choice, but don't be pussies, kids. Opioids can't be good for you. You'll end up eating mangoes and shitting all over.
