What the hell. I got a root canal, and though I had to get it over three sessions (it was really bad) every time it was too painful to handle I just got a shot of local stuff straight to the gum, which only numbed that and the cheek for a couple hours. How come they have to knock people out/get them stupid on general opioid analgesic for the same procedure in other countries with better healthcare?
The root canal procedure itself used a local anesthetic. The Hydrocodone was for any complications afterwords, because that's happened to me before. I only got 3 and I only used the one.
So I had to image and configure 40 some Lenovo E540's over the last 2 days. I take back any words I used to try and defend those fucking trackpads. Please forgive me?
They actually brand those shitpiles as ThinkPads? Ahahaha!
Yes.
They actually brand those shitpiles as ThinkPads? Ahahaha!
The worst of it is the trackpad and cancer causing display. Why the fuck have almost all manufacturers switched back to only using 1366x768 on everything but the high end models? It's awful.
Even Apple put those CancerPanels™ on their shit-tier Airs. [editline]20th July 2014[/editline] Don't some awful OEM's like Acer even market them as HD+?
That's marketing for you.
hey guys my friends asus k55a laptop wont turn on. no lights or anything. help pls.
Even Apple put those CancerPanels™ on their shit-tier Airs. [editline]20th July 2014[/editline] Don't some awful OEM's like Acer even market them as HD+?
Well technically they are. Unfortunately most companies market 720p as "HD" so 768 is above it...
I have this Sony cyberhshot that says "Full HD 1080p" with a "* still images" fine print right under it. Sure the photos can be full HD or higher but the video was 480p and a very misleading sticker.
so i checked my peter bishop tinder matched up with 2 Tgirls and a guy amongst a bunch of them
Have you tried making a Walter Bishop tinder? Also, I was in Edinburgh yesterday and the Cash Generator there was selling second hand monitors for £4-£10. I wish they'd had the resolutions on them, might have bought a couple if they were decent enough. But would that price even be worth the dead pixels/power cables?
bluray release is out too for that 1080p crisp goodness :)
sorry to bring this discussion back up but no it isn't? at least not in the US, unless I've missed something here please tell me I've missed something
sorry to bring this discussion back up but no it isn't? at least not in the US, unless I've missed something here please tell me I've missed something
If it's out in one region, it's out in all regions. Welcome to the global economy, enjoy your stay.
looks like i'm gonna get a referb surface pro 1 for my birthday. anyone know a good place to get one?
i watch all my anime on laserdisc
I'm not sure I get Cowboy Bebop. That's not to say I didn't enjoy watching it but the episodes felt disconnected from one another and then the ending feels like it was cut and paste from a different show completely.
holy fuck i didnt know the bluray was this good [t]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-B5jdYNySfLI/Ul4CwP5MdHI/AAAAAAAAGiM/zmxM9xb5vuE/s1600/still_36498.png[/t] [t]http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dGduY2GmOGk/Ul4CvnAaXuI/AAAAAAAAGiI/e3d-bEhm10w/s1600/still_36497.png[/t] [t]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UsB4db_RzeY/Ul4C3ZASEdI/AAAAAAAAGiY/oFJF0dIlK70/s1600/still_36500.png[/t] might have to watch it again. it's even widescreen! [editline]19th July 2014[/editline] oh theres only one release in 16:9
Is that grain in the original versions? Or is it added in the BD copy to make it feel more detailed?
I'm willing to bet it's in the originals, someone doing a 10bit rip probably wouldn't fuck with the content.
I got that on Laserdisc.
Is that grain in the original versions? Or is it added in the BD copy to make it feel more detailed?
it's probably an aesthetic choice. i doubt the cels are like that
i think it looks better with grain than without. it probably makes it look better in motion you could try grabbing the raw files to see if those have the grain or not. it's undoubtedly still going to be there, but it might not be as prominent
it's probably an aesthetic choice. i doubt the cels are like that
If they pulled it straight from the source film, its going to have grain. Not really much you can do about it short of digitally removing it. Though it would be easier to tell if they weren't stills.
If they pulled it straight from the source film, its going to have grain. Not really much you can do about it short of digitally removing it. Though it would be easier to tell if they weren't stills.
cels aren't like photo film, they don't inherently have that much noise. lots of BD re-releases have added grain (Ghibli releases do, for example). it's done to capture the feel of an actual 35mm live action film

varies from studio to studio but that's more than likely in this case still though, post-processed noise is quite common in these HD re-releases. disney doesn't do it with their classics though
varies from studio to studio but that's quite probable in this case still though, post-processed noise is quite common in these HD re-releases. disney doesn't do it with their classics though
I would imagine it is in this case, since TV show releases tend not to get the level of attention major film releases do (though it does look better than a lot of film Bluray releases I've seen, though that might be because the original film was badly preserved in those cases and were near straight transfers). But I don't doubt some studios add grain for effect.
wow the sims 4 looks like shit i mean its understandable that it's got a different feel because it was supposed to be a mmo but jesus christ mate.
You're talking graphics wise right? You would be surprised how shitty the average player of The Sims computers are. Many play on non-gaming laptops and complain constantly about how un-optimized The Sims 3 is (A game where you can achieve almost constant 60 FPS with a R7 250 on near max settings) so I'm not surprised thet went the route they did when it comes to visuals. Gameplay wise? Looks like The Sims to me.
Amazon was having a deal on some no name AC, and sicne we don't have the rich availability of AC here, I jumped on that. Tonight of course I couldn't sleep because of heat.
This looks kind of cool, 27" 120Hz 2560x1440 IPS monitor. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/overlord-tempest-x270oc-monitor,3879.html I won't be upgrading my screens in a long time though, who knows where the tech is going to end up once I'm on the market for a screen.

You're better off with a yamakasi catleap which is the same thing but cheaper.
or a not shoddy 1080p guaranteed 120hz monitor
