41.7 gigs of data so far this month and Verizon has only throttled me once down to 20mbps. I am happy.
So far on Rogers, they haven't throttle me at all, at least it doesn't seem like it at all.
So far on Rogers, they haven't throttle me at all, at least it doesn't seem like it at all.
It's been a while since I last checked, but I believe Verizon's works something like after 2.5 gigs you get throttled based on traffic for your tower. Essentially less priority.

I don't see why Rogers would want to throttle you. The only time that you're unlimited is when you're on that trial. They wouldn't want to slow down the opportunity to charge you $10-15 a GB on their plans.

That and I'm legitimately using several GB of data just for speedtest at several places at different times.
I am confused. So I was in a craft store, and I happened across a bunch of earbuds on a very heavy discount - $2.50 apiece. Since I lose those things constantly, I picked up two, figuring even if they were shit, they'd be good replacements. For five bucks, I didn't have high expectations. I expected them to be slightly uncomfortable. They are. I expected the wires to be finicky, dropping the connection if I wiggled them wrong. They are. I expected a poor frequency response. I was right, but not in the right way. I expected decent mids and weak bass/treble. I did not expect a decent bass and weak everything else. Seriously, either EVERY OTHER SOUND SYSTEM I have ever had is weak on the bass (including the 8" subwoofer setup), or these things drop everything by about an octave. I don't have any equipment to check with, but that's what it sounds like. Maybe I completely misunderstand audio, but I thought larger speakers worked better for bass because it matches the wavelength better. I don't see any reasonable defect that would make earbuds too bass-heavy unless they were specifically designed to. And yes, I even tried some dubstep on them, they still sound too bass-heavy. Not quite as much as everything else I tried (metal, thrash metal, power metal, speed metal, death metal, and pseudo-80's hard rock), but still too low.

In earbuds I would think there's a degree of acoustic coupling with the ear drum if the seal is good enough, headphones aren't something I deal with on a daily basis though. I would imagine they might be artificially rolling off the high frequency response which in comparison makes the lower frequencies more apparent at the expense of overall sensitivity. Possibly done to please the crowd that equate bass response to audio quality.
why don't you just put it in the fucking junk folder like a sane and rational person
What's the fun in that? Also, none of the AV scanners on Virustotal picked up on it, so I want to know if it's actually malicious, and then maybe send it to some AV company.
Hey, you can include a pretty naughty payload in DOC files.
The only plausible and practical way to make a doc file malicious is to include a macro, and they are always blocked when you open a doc document with one embedded. The only way for you to get infected by one is if you're retarded enough to ignore the big red warning bar on the top of the screen as well as several other pop up dialogues warning you about the presence of a macro and confirmations of running the macro.

Good thing I opened up the .doc file, this is fucking beautiful http://imgur.com/a/eZCBr I want to meet a person who's stupid enough to fall for this one.
Do you use Appchan X? Without it enabled I can post fine, with I get a connection error, every damn time.
I use 4chanX I feel like something site side got changed and managed to break all of the 4chan companion extensions [editline]21st July 2014[/editline] Well with it disabled I can at least get past the connection error but the fucking captcha still doesn't work... [editline]21st July 2014[/editline] I can post in firefox but I cbf to use it so I guess 4chan is in read only more for me for the time being

Cat6 Cables coming in tomorrow. Going to upgrade from 100mbit Cat5 to 1Gbit Lan for my improvised server rack.

"1852 a" would work on your example
