It's useful for if you're on a train/plane. You've probably brought it with you to play some games, so why not use it for movies as well?
Snip. I know fuck all about Vita
Because it appears to be backwards so the console just points at the table.
It's not backwards, that's the rear touchpad.
I pulled my cousin's vita out of storage. It had no batteries and no (good) games, so I put it back, but first I noticed this and was baffled.

The hardcase comes with a little kickstand. So you can like, display it, like it's a piece of art. I've never seen a console so full of itself, with it's proprietary media, massive dimensions, coverage in metal and shiny plastic, abundance of controls, and now this. It's so... pompous.
Then I realized I've been up for an unhealthy amount of time, I'm overthinking stuff, and it's probably for watching movies or something. Who the hell would watch a movie on a screen that tiny, though?
i really like devices with kickstands though
it makes it that much easier to tap away at the touchscreen casually on a table and watch things at a good angle

also persona 4 golden is gud
How does one record their screen and save it as a gif/webm?
How does one record their screen and save it as a gif/webm?
sharex
It saves as an mp4, unless that can be configured and I'm an idiot (which is not unlikely)
[editline]23rd July 2014[/editline]
Yep I'm an idiot, I just found the settings
ShareX works cool and all but its UI is not the most intuitive
Also, OBS should work aswell.

Could be tweaked but it works

Gifcam. You can also save in avi file

Thank you based EA
Does anyone know how to easily copy everything from an SSD to a HDD apart from Windows 7? Trying to keep my stuff and my OS separate to make updating easier.
Does Dell fuck up shipping things to you guys often?
I just got a damn near empty large box that had nothing in it aside from large amounts of paper and a Windows 7 OEM disc... There was also supposed to be a mouse in there.

I don't think that's a good idea. I'd only transfer stuff like photos, documents, installers, etc, that kind of stuff. transferring full programs from one system to another generally won't work as registry entries are going to be missing
And now, a moment of mourning, for the ones we have lost.

I gave up on Waterfox, noticed that the memory leaks I experienced browsing were frequent and quite bad. Back to plain old Firefox for me.
Got my laptop screen upgraded to 1920x1080, and it's delicious.
But holy fuck what a frustrating process it was, it's the most annoying procedure I've done on any kind of electronic I think. Maybe I just don't have the right expertise, but I got it done in the end.
What I had to do was get the screen assembly off the laptop, and then in order to switch the panel out, I needed to remove the bezel by heating it up so the glue around it would get soft and it would be easier to remove. A fucking pain in the ass, but worth it for 1920x1080 on 13". It feels like a brand new computer. SO MUCH ROOM FOR ACTIVITIES.
Coworker offered to do a straight trade from my HD 6850 to his R9 280 so he can have Hackintosh compatibility. I think I'm gonna do it...

that's a big sacrifice only to have hackintosh compatibility. I think I'd rather spend more money on a dedicated hackintosh rig than literally give away a R9 280.
but that doesn't matter in the end, a free + better graphics card is always appreciated
He doesn't do a lot of gaming. Think the most intensive game he runs is Portal 2, which the 6850 easily can max.
I'll probably toss him couple bucks just to make up for some of the difference.

I knew I was right about not trusting Waterfox.
I've been building my own 64 bit builds.
I'm content with my Galaxy Note by "Samdung", thanks.
I always wondered but what is OneNote actually for?
It always felt more efficient to me to just take notes in Word but I dunno if it's a touchscreen thing
I wish Origin would let me put individual games wherever I may please.
I use OneNote for my assignments in college, I have it on the Mac too. Thing is, it didn't sync my current stuff so that was pointless.

I guess it was supposed to be easier to write notes

This is why you don't wait 2 years to empty your recycle bin, folks
don't think I ever empty my recycle bin, but I reinstall the OS so often it doesn't matter anyway

I thought it gets auto removed every 30 or 60 days
Apparently my recycle bin missed the memo
hard
I just shift+delete everything.
