I'd probably end up playing in a 1080p borderless window and then use the rest of the space for other things.
I was trying to mess around with just having a 1920x1080 primary screen and using the PiP for a 640x1080 screen along one side for TS, but my monitor wasn't having it.
[editline]24th July 2014[/editline]
So I bought two more monitors.

That case makes me really want to downsize... anyone interested in trading an Asrock Extreme6 for a microatx Z87 board? Haha

To be fair, "downsizing" to the prodigy is rather subjective. It really looks smaller than it actually is (a little larger than half a full-ATX tower)

Coming from a 750D with a full CPU and GPU loop, most things are downsizing.

They did, but it's apparently not very good, because they just rearranged it to fit a matx board. Reviews say it's a pain to build in, airflow sucks and it's too small for matx
people have fit ATX builds into the prodigy
Hey is the windows 8.1 disc/iso both 32 and 64 bit in one?
people have fit ATX builds into the prodigy
People have fit amazing amounts of shit in many cases.
GUYS
GUYS I FINALLY DID IT
I BUILT MY FIRST COMPUTER AND IT WORKS SO WELL HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
No longer am I under the reigns of bloatware and prebuilt bullshittery!
Just plugged in a CRT from 2003, and hoooley shit this refresh rate.
I don't think I could ever go back. Not even for resolution.
Hey is the windows 8.1 disc/iso both 32 and 64 bit in one?
Nope. Still have separate ISO's.
people have fit ATX builds into the prodigy
This is pretty much why i don't recommend the prodigy to people who wants miniITX builds anymore. The case is way too big for a miniITX motherboard. Dimension wise, it's almost as big as MicroATX towers.
Yeah. It's not a great case, but it's still sexy as fuck.
People have different tastes.
Example I don't think the prodigy is sexy cause I like minimalist case designs such as corsairs 250d? I think it was they have a ITX and that looks great to me.
The Obsidian cases are my current favorite, but I'm a sucker for a smooth, sleek case like that. Nothing flashy though.

I currently have the Carbide 300R. I love it, except that the top is a wide open grill , and I'm worried somebody will spill something in it someday. I would put it on my desk but my monitor is a flat screen the length of my desk. :pwn:

Same with mine, but there's a 360mm rad there. Got my case about 3 feet from my desk though so I don't spill anything.
I'm not sure wither I'm going to get a new case or mod my current one when I upgrade this year.
(for water cooling)

What exactly do you mean when you said "mod my current one"?
I like my HAF-X (ty brt) and Ghost cases. They do their job well.
What exactly do you mean when you said "mod my current one"?
Possibly mod his case to better facilitate watercooling? Pretty common.
Possibly mod his case to better facilitate watercooling? Pretty common.
yep stickin rads everywhere and drillin holes for tubes
yep stickin rads everywhere and drillin holes for tubes
I may mod my case to accept a second 360mm rad instead of just putting a 240 in.

The drive bay doesn't allow a dual radiator in the front and I can fit a 120mm in the back. So I'll cut a hole for it then I can fit one fine. I'm going to keep my 2500k and upgrade to an 880 or 870, so I don't think I can run that off one radiator.

Depends on the size. I run my 4670k and 680 oc'd to their max on a single 360mm rad and don't break 60 with the cpu or 50 with the gpu under 100% load

Don't think I could mount a 360mm rad in a storm scout 1.
Needs more 900D
Nor can you in the scout 2
:( woes of the scout series cases.
I could do this but I'm not comfortable with doing external stuff like that.

This is how I'll likely do it.
What the hell is AVC?
In other news, I tried the Indeo codec and brought the file down to 35mb and the depth up to millions of colors. I'm going to have to see if I can find a codec installer somewhere.
AVC. Advanced Video Coding. Also known as H.264

The handle is so damn convenient though
