I have no idea. When I asked them about if they provide me with a nodebook, or if they have a BYOD policy, they told me they'd provide me with a company-issued thinkpad.

Normally the model number would be on the bottom right corner of the bezel at least, but oh well. I'm gonna give a good guess it's an X240 or T440. Or a T430.

reminds me of something my cat did once. he was stubborn on sleeping on my arm, so I had to twist it around awkwardly

It's so hot right now, the bloody telephone copper wires in the ground and elsewhere expand so much during the 30C+ 5 hours spike during the day, that when things start to cool down, everything fucking breaks because the cables start contracting.
I can't get an ADSL connection for more than a few seconds at a time, and I've debugged everything out from the environment except for shit that I can't touch (phone wiring inside walls, the exchange at the bottom of the apartment building, underground wiring etc.)
On the other hand, I hooked up my phone to my PC and I'm doing USB tethering - Windows seems to failover to the phone's connection pretty nicely when the ADSL connection is down.

Yeah a refurb Surface Pro 1 will do you well, or a Pro 2 if you just want good battery life out of the box.

They're both good devices, it's just that the 2's Haswell chip is so much more efficient than what's in the 1.
