Well I guess I missed a lot of free stuff :/
Some of them are still going it seems (Spacechem, Dino D-Day and Really Big Sky) http://www.pcgamer.com/2014/07/31/free-steam-key/ Dino D-Day is pretty fun, and i've played 18 hours of GTR Evolution since i got it 3 days ago, really fun racing game when you have a steering wheel
If I was to sell it on Ebay etc I could, but it's too much hassle if they complain the phone doesn't work or whatever. So i'm just selling it to Mazuma Mobile which don't accept rooted phones.
Ah ok :) I get you now
and i've played 18 hours of GTR Evolution since i got it 3 days ago, really fun racing game when you have a steering wheel
You need to try Assetto Corsa. Specifically, you need to download this track, grab the drift version of the BMW M3 E30, and put on some eurobeat. Or, download the F1 2014 cars, and grab a copy of the Nürburgring Nordschleife, and set some lap times. I swear though, setting lap times on the Nordschleife will make you rip your hair out - 20 kilometers and 154 turns of sheer fucking terror, with speeds regularly exceeding 200km/h, and cornering speeds averaging northward of 120km/h. You fuck up once, and you ruin the lap. Oh, and they have every turn ever conceived by mankind, on the same track, so tuning the car to match the track is more difficult than trying to get a threesome with Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Lawrence.
I got Minecraft for the Xbox in my girlfriend's apartment, because I thought it'd be an okay game for us to share. I've put in about three hours. Her? Seventeen. Yes. Seventeen hours altogether. I bought it on Sunday. Welcome to Minecraft...
but did she buy all the skin packs?
The Xbox-version of Minecraft is to Minecraft kind of like what masturbation is to having sex with a Korean girl band. Or what a $5k used car is to a Lan Evo. Or what a pistol is to an LMG.
but did she buy all the skin packs?
Lol nope. It's my XBLA account anyway, so she'd be getting an angry phone call if suddenly dozens of xbox charges showed up.
Lol nope. It's my XBLA account anyway, so she'd be getting an angry phone call if suddenly dozens of xbox charges showed up.
good so now for every special event/holiday/whatever buy her a pack of skins instead of an actual present
updated for version 7.4.393 Problem: Text drawing on newer MS-Windows systems is suboptimal. Some multi-byte characters are not displayed, even though the same font in Notepad can display them. (Srinath Avadhanula) Solution: Add the 'renderoptions' option to enable Direct-X drawing.
You need to try Assetto Corsa.
Spending most of my time in GTR Evolution right now on the Nürburgring in an Audi R8, Assetto Corsa seems really cool but a bit pricey
Well school/college is going to start in less than a month so I guess I should go look for a laptop, I have no idea what to look for and I never owned a laptop but used a bunch of them. I kinda want one just to do work and be able to play my games on Steam whenever I get bored. I'm probably looking at a budget of $1000. If I didn't have a budget, I'd litterally just go get the highest end MacBook Pro w/ Retina.
So newegg opened a new warehouse in Indiana and now I have to pay sales tax on everything I buy. I've always wanted to pay an additional $60 for a laptop.
I'm really tempted to buy a retina macbook, but I will probably regret it down the line, because I just got my new Zenbook. I need to get some self control, and just hold out a while longer.
if you're going to get a rMBP wait for the next major refresh since the recent one was just a small one
if you're going to get a rMBP wait for the next major refresh since the recent one was just a small one
I plan on getting one when The Macbook version with a the broadwell refresh releases.
if you're going to get a rMBP wait for the next major refresh since the recent one was just a small one
so when would that be?
next year [editline]6th August 2014[/editline] they just did a small refresh last week, but I caved and got one since I did need to replace my older MacBook (2008 Unibody) I'm pretty sure it's going to be my main machine since I'm dialing back on how much I play games, mainly PC games. But I can play stuff like WoW, XCOM, Civ 5, CSGO, SC2, and D3 at 1920x1200 (Civ 5 will only run at 1680x1050 but w/e) with most of the pretty stuff turned on.
maybe ill just go get a thinkpad like everyone else here
maybe ill just go get a thinkpad like everyone else here
Don't buy the new ones. Or the version before those new ones. I just find them a little blugh.
