Proud to say the film is finished. In draft. Clocks in with 1hr1minute. Now just fine tuning to the director and going through and fixing what the previous editor did :v:
That sound worse than stage 3 malignant cancer
I'm in the same boat and there isn't really all that much of a problem when you haven't used anything better.
is a daihatsu box car okay im seeing plenty of those around here
That car has the cutest mascot
So who is going to be the company to make a twitch replacement now that Twitch is goofing up?
Bit late, but me and a few guys have been working on something like this for a while now.
Java is really growing on me, its only a grotesque verbose shitpile if your boss has you in a mad rush or if you don't know what you are doing. You can write fairly pretty code with it.
I'm probably gonna end up Writing full time Java at work, and using Golang + C# for personal projects. I was for quite some time torn between Rust and Golang. Turns out that rust doesen't really give a shit about Windows, so my choice was rather easy. [editline]7th August 2014[/editline] http://www.whymicrosoft.com/Pages/openoffice.aspx Oh look. It's that time of the year again. I wonder why MS chose openoffice and not libreoffice. Probably because they'd have even less arguments against it.
I'm sure some of you at least mess with electrical engineering, are there any open source (or free) tools for drawing logic diagrams/flowcharts that won't run like crap on a netbook?
I'm sure some of you at least mess with electrical engineering, are there any open source (or free) tools for drawing logic diagrams/flowcharts that won't run like crap on a netbook?
We used this really basic looking one in class, I'll see if I can find it [editline]7th August 2014[/editline] http://dia-installer.de/ Barebones as fuck and open source apparently, go nuts
Get me a Toyota AE86 Trueno from Japan or you're dead to me.
you have to make sure that its a tofu delivery car or it isn't even worth bringing
you have to make sure that its a tofu delivery car or it isn't even worth bringing
With a high-rev Group A engine that's never been used, [sp]that you rev to 13k, which causes it to explode into bits, and then pop the clutch and roll over the finish line.[/sp] Also, spoilers if you haven't seen Final Stage. I want watercooling, on me. [t]http://i.imgur.com/nMMqcWg.jpg[/t]
So I'm not really sure what I want to do. My current rig is a 2500k with a 7850, and I want to upgrade it. So I'm likely gonna upgrade it this fall and get an 880. But I'm not sure if I want to water cool, or get some nice fans, and a nice 1440p monitor instead.
That car has the cutest mascot
Oh deer.
You best get your arse to akibahara and buy me a psp-300e camera
While you're buying the camera, buy me some records. I've heard Japan is quite good for record shopping.
we used hotel wifi and a portble mini router we bought there for like $20 when we were in japan worked great, and you can buy an almost universal wifi service for pretty cheap
Steam also likes to keep my laptop CPU running at full speed, how does shit like that even happen.
Kinda late on this one... Since I'm getting from Sysadmin employment into Developing software at a new firm in a few weeks, I'm kinda worried that I would end up like Fuckhead. I have never programmed commercially in a team before (had some very small projects here and there, alone), so everything is kinda new to me, and my Code would probably make a seasoned dev puke his eyes out. Any tips on how to not end up like Fuckhead?
Fuckhead was a marketer who somehow managed to get code access - the main evil he wrought was selling the customers something, then coding it (horribly) himself, then blaming us when it didn't work. Or trying to reduce our budget because *he* could code a feature in about 2 days, while we took a week. Granted, our version would *work*, and could actually be upgraded, and when you factored in the time to debug it all his had spiraled up to "forever", but he was literally golf buddies with the execs on the project so he could just yell his numbers louder and win. So yeah, you're not likely to be as bad as Fuckhead, because you're not even in the same sort of position. And hopefully you have experience more recent than "some FORTRAN in college". But if you want advice: 1) Don't just read the docs to figure out which magic incantation of function calls you need to make, try to understand how and why things work. 2) Don't just test that the code works when everything goes right, test for when things go wrong. 3) If you're on a team, work as a team. Don't use other people as Google, but use them as a resource. If you don't have formal procedures for it, you can still informally say "hey, does this architecture look like a good idea?" or "hey, the specs don't say what should happen in this weird case, what makes the most sense?"

I'm looking forward to developing a product in a team. [editline]7th August 2014[/editline]
you can drop the soap in a hospital i never knew that :v:
I had to show that Ingrown hair shit to like 3 different doctors. It's weird when you drop your pants, and one of the 3 doctors goes like "Ah pilonidal sinus, those are my speciality", while fingering around your asscrack.
A good 1080P TV costs like $500 in the states now [editline]7th August 2014[/editline] Assuming you don't fall for those 3D, "smart" features, and other useless gimmicks.
Well my dad did fall for a Samsung 3D smart gimmick TV, the 'smart' feature just to be able to watch live streams of darts. Turns out the telly doesn't support Flash.
Well my dad did fall for a Samsung 3D smart gimmick TV, the 'smart' feature just to be able to watch live streams of darts. Turns out the telly doesn't support Flash.
We have one of those, we've found the more gimmicky features the TV has shoved in, the more likely it is for one of them to break and fuck everything up
My girlfriend's Vizio TV has all the smart features and it likes to freeze or not connect to the internet. Started using the Xbox for netflix and stuff and all is well. Watched Wayne's World again last night... Excellent!
Source2? What did I miss while I was away at the hospital, showing my ass around like some gay prison slut?
source 2: still hot from the presses tho http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1415582
I'm listening to a 29 year old tape with songs from the hitlists in that era. And I can confirm that pop music hasn't gotten worse, contrary to popular belief.
Welp, seems like 8GB of RAM are just not cutting it anymore.
And I can confirm that pop music hasn't gotten worse, contrary to popular belief.
It sure as hell hasn't gotten better either.
It sure as hell hasn't gotten better either.
Well, at least no one is singing in German these days :v:
I'm sure some of you at least mess with electrical engineering, are there any open source (or free) tools for drawing logic diagrams/flowcharts that won't run like crap on a netbook?
Never used it, but I did catch a glimpse that GNU Electric does what you're asking.
Yes sadly, I'm assuming it's the beta causing issues?
I'm using the beta too so i doubt it
