Comcast is the only non-cellular ISP in the US I know of that puts caps on.
Oi Nikomo, update your avatar. It's so out-of-date, it bothers me :v:

Happy now?
I used to update it pretty consistently, but then I moved apartments etc., and I just kind of stopped doing it.
Been thinking about setting up something that could do it at least semi-automatically, shouldn't be that hard to have some Python thing scrape the data from kernel.org, and then throw a picture together.
I used a hilarious amount of unlimited LTE recently...
And apparently I just got another month of it. Awesome.
1TB usage here I come!
Last day at work.
Whoop Whoop

I made one that generated cards against humanity decks, dunno where it went or I'd retool it :v:
Just realized my favorite custom map on Assetto Corsa only has one spot available, since it's a hastily made map, so you can't use it in multiplayer :/

Took me a bit to realize how the mechanics for that work, ugh.
Hopefully someone updates it, I totally want to drift downhill with other people.
just get a 4k monitor tbh
No. I've played FPSes on a 2560x1600 and 2560x1080 displays now, and I far prefer the 21:9 monitor. The aspect ratio is so much more pleasing to me, plus less pixels to drive etc.
im waaaay late on this one but the studio at my school has one and its glorious. its also the only 1080p projector on campus (that i know of).
We've got twin 4k 60hz projectors at the studio with 120hz polarized autoshutter lenses so each one can do 60fps 3D content with polarized glasses. It's pretty fucking sweet, especially when you put them relatively close to their screen so it's only about 120 inches diagonal. The only problem is they make a metric fuckton of noise and heat and the bulbs burn out every couple hundred hours and cost several thousands of dollars to replace. So unfortunately as much as I want to, I can't try to play games in glorious 3D-vision with them.
If we could stop using inches for diagonals that would make me so happy.
That's the only thing inches are good at, and where they're actually used.
Let them have that.
The 64 gig microSD card just popped out of my T100 and onto the floor of my room. From in my 7ft high loft bed. I heard it skitter around down there so I'm praying it's findable, but I'm not holding out much hope. RIP.
How about measuring with dongs?
Reencoding video in Linux Mint and getting a nice little boost, using Handbrake in Windows would do it at 25-30fps. Now I'm getting 35fps as a minimum, 45fps at maximum with an average of 40fps.
the steam client, it looks different
That's only if you use the steam beta update.
inches are only good for screen and car rim measurements.
dongs sound bigger in cm.
Comcast is the only non-cellular ISP in the US I know of that puts caps on.
It's all regional in the US I've found. Around me Buckeye Cable (local isp), Comcast, and ATT all have caps.

This argument is our only hope of ever getting USA to switch to metric.

Imperial Units master race. I don't get you guy's obsession with having units that actually make sense.
Is there at least a logical explanation how pounds can be written as lbs?
Pound is short for 'pound weight' which is libra pondo in Latin. It's stupid. We're not Caesar.

Anyways, back to sleep. Had to wake up for an 8:30 phone interview on my only day off this week
Found one of my old java projects, made a gif.

cba changing ints to doubles to get a better frame rate though.
I think it'd be faster, in both performance and time spent, if you just reimplemented it in a language that hasn't been touched by Oracle.
Comcast is the only non-cellular ISP in the US I know of that puts caps on.
AT&T does 150 GB caps. Comcast has 250-350, but not in all regions.
My boss right now: "Fuck, kaukassus works only for 3 more hours, and then his work contract ends, and he then works at another firm. Lets add him to an useless 3 hour meeting which doesen't involve him in any way, instead of asking him important questions about shit we don't know!!"
Person next to boss: "awesome idea!"

I just love sitting in a meeting, and then your boss goes "Looks like we have to do some heavy overtime to implement function X", and I'm just responding with "Sucks to be you".
Last day at work.

Haha. Today's my last day, then I'm going to Vegas all next week, then school starts up again. Not excited to take Assembly and Algorithms (although I've done enough assembly in my life that it's really not that bad.)
There's a massive holocaust-denier on Reddit that managed to grab tons of subreddits ages ago.
He went inactive for 2 months, so people managed to get the subreddits back, just now, finally.
List includes subreddits like xkcd, vietnam, egalitarian, algeria, libya, apod (NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day), syria and iraq.
There's a few other subreddits where requests have been filed for his removal, like eupolitics, IDF, middleeastnews, holocaustrevision, theholocaust, and a few more I believe.

the code is two years old and has no comments, its one of the first things I wrote at uni. I have no idea how the algorithm works anymore.
So I got convinced to switch to dev branch on chrome.
no regrets this font is just amazing.
Just switched, it's awesome. Thanks bb
