Everything was nice and crisp so I guess I'll try to aim for a 1080p display on a 15.6 inch laptop.. Or better and get a retina MacBook Pro.
I've got 1080p on my 13.3" laptop, it's def worth it. Makes the entire computer feel better.
Del Taco cables?

Probably really shitty cables
extremely cheap cables, they're not terrible at least i don't have to pay $50 for a 5m hdmi cable like in regular stores
extremely cheap cables, they're not terrible at least i don't have to pay $50 for a 5m hdmi cable like in regular stores
Over here there's a fast food chain called Del Taco that's literally the lowest of lows. That's the joke.
I use to eat Del Taco all the time. I somehow managed to lose some weight :v:
man i wish we had a taco place here nachos are so fucking delicious every time i go to stockholm i make myself nauseous with nachos
Ohhh god, whyyy did they not center the trackpad. I don't think I could last ten minutes with that thing without getting pissed off and putting duct tape over the whole lower front to hide such an obscenity.
Since it has a numpad it's centered with the space bar (like basically every single laptop with a numpad) Personally I'd rather just use an external numpad
There was an old server laying around outside today, nicked this from it. [t]http://i.imgur.com/1NEZPKD.jpg[/t] (microSD for scale) Literally old gold.
I've got 1080p on my 13.3" laptop, it's def worth it. Makes the entire computer feel better.
Maybe it's just me but every Windows laptop I've seen so far has a meh screen. I've only quickly browsed best buy.
Maybe it's just me but every Windows laptop I've seen so far has a meh screen. I've only quickly browsed best buy.
Most of those laptops are probably budget stuff. 1366x768 errywhere. Poor viewing angles is common, too.
Most of those laptops are probably budget stuff. 1366x768 errywhere. Poor viewing angles is common, too.
Current budget is $1000, hopefully I can find/get something that has a decent screen with decent specs and all that.
Current budget is $1000, hopefully I can find/get something that has a decent screen with decent specs and all that.
My Y500 was $750 shipped, and it has a 1080p screen that's pretty good. [editline]10th August 2014[/editline] Holy shit I just checked the Lenovo website and the Y510p is gone! Now they've got this Y50 thing and it's much less impressive. More expensive than an SLI Y510p and it only has a GTX 860m. [editline]10th August 2014[/editline] And no more Ultrabay so no more options for expandability.

Y'know, i never noticed that.
Probably a little late, but what places would you suggest to dabble into using PSP homebrew? The sites I checked either look fishy (like "hurr ROMS/ISOS HERE") or are flat out broken when trying to click links.
I used to only use pspmod.com when I was involved in homebrew. Pretty helpful guys and they don't support piracy so you won't have a problem with that.

For guides, /r/PSP has this guide that has most of what you need, and a couple threads on good homebrew programs and some cool stuff you can do with them.
I use to eat Del Taco all the time. I somehow managed to lose some weight :v:
my weight fluctuated from 130-140 all summer from eating pure filth and cheese (taco bell, pizza, and the occasional mcdonalds).
Hold on, if we're going to make this official, let me put on my Emperor hat. One sec. By order of the Emperor, everyone is to shut up and quit bitching about Pentium using old-ass computer systems, under pain of being forced to reinstall OS/2 from floppies. In exchange, Pentium is further ordered to quit acting smug because he uses old computer systems, under penalty of being forced to run Windows Vista, even if his computer totally can't handle it. There. Now it is official.

I refuse to honor these these terms and conditions because I am not being smug. You guys can't at all handle the fact someone doesn't want to upgrade. If a moderator or Garry signs off on this however then fine, I'll shut up.
Swebonny of Sweden and buns. I like it.
their customer service is almost non existent.
u w0t? Lenovo has some of the best customer service I've ever dealt with. You call them up, give them your serial number, they airmail a box via UPS to your house, you put your laptop in the box, apply the label included, and you get it back in less than a week. Bad battery or a broken power supply? They send you a new one overnight, and give you a label to mail the old one back to them.
So I found a copy of Command and Conquer: The First Decade which has like 12 Command and Conquer games. What should I do with it? I don't know if the codes are used but if someone really likes command and conquer I'll give it to them I guess
Mememememememememrmrmrmrmrmrmrmrmrmemrmemememememem
I don't think I've tried the AccuType keyboards before.. How is it and stuff?
Pretty good, actually. I went from a MacBook Pro to this and I do't really mind the keyboard at all. Plus it's backlit which for me is a huge plus.

Cursive writing, AND in ink.
The trackpad is also decent, if not great.
I'm looking at a thinkpad t240. Any other suggestions around that $300 price range?

swebonny for heir to the throne of garry
Pretty good, actually. I went from a MacBook Pro to this and I do't really mind the keyboard at all. Plus it's backlit which for me is a huge plus.
sweet, ill have to check it the keyboard on similar laptops sometime.
Time for content: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbGQBT2Vwvc Don't know if it counts.
Time for content: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbGQBT2Vwvc Don't know if it counts.
It counts. Ohhh it counts.
The trackpad is also decent, if not great.
On the Y510p? The fucking buttons react to touch. It was the worst fucking touchpad I have ever used and my dad's HP CQ-60's touchpad had coffee spilled all over it so only half of it worked and you could only left-click. Seriously, The fucking buttons react to touch on the Y510p. You click, it goes down, but so does your pointer so you misclick. gg engineers, who the fuck thought that that is a good idea?
I don't like my X230's touchpad, or the X131e's or even my SL510. I'm in love with the touchpad of my MacBook. For the keyboard, there isn't much difference between the two. AccuType and Apple's keyboards are great. Except I can't fucking type on the ThinkPad anymore because of it.
