Sorry, I didn't read the post and thought it was in response to the "I'm perfectly happy with my 1tb storage drive" post above. Once something like that starts going in this thread we always seem to run though the onedownsmanship game of "ha ha, my item is slightly worse than your item!" ad nauseun eventually spiraling to just plain silly proclamations.

I just realized that my laptop is basically my version of the restoration car that old men do.
Yes, it's got a shit CPU, that couldn't beat an Atom in a benchmark.
Yes, it doesn't have the best keyboard.
Yes, it has a shit screen, with slightly horrible view angles.

But it's my baby.
I've swapped the HDD for an SSD, I've got the max amount of RAM installed, and my OS is riced beyond recognition.

Also, I just bought a new bike, and cycled through my day-today, where I usually have to take 2-3 pauses, except now I did it with 1 pause when I went to a shop, so I'm feeling a bit more... euphoric.

Lightning etc.

Only thing about the different USB designs, is that they're actually a standard.
Any moron in China can grab some cable, and stick two $0.05 connectors on it, and it'll work with the crap you bought from wherever.

I like how the EU made MicroUSB a standard that all smartphone companies must follow, but Apple just said "fuck you" and made a lightning to microUSB adaptor to get around the law.

A long time ago I got a trillion spam mails from Mojang because some fuckwit tried to 'hack' my account or whatever. So I decided to add [email][e-mail][/email] as spam.
Today I decided I wanted to play Minecraft, but I think it turns out that the fuckwit managed to get my password somehow and change it? In any case, I forgot my password.

But since Mojang's system is so special that it decides to not send any more emails to me because it detected that it was going to 'spam' in my folder for some reason;

Who even needs digital compression when you've got three tape speeds? Got this two days ago, replaced some belts and cleaned it up (It had decades of dust inside and out). It works pretty well now, except for the right level meter being broken and the spools are a bit noisy. It's a Philips N4515 and I think it's from 1978. The reel that came with it has radio recordings from what I believe is 74. Bert approves of the sound quality.
