You can own some Liquid Ass for less than ten bucks. The reviews are pretty entertaining. http://www.amazon.com/Liquid-Ass-Mister/dp/B000OCEWGW
USB Type C looks awesome i hope it becomes the new standard.
Or at least have it replace the USB 3.0 Type-B cable. They're way too wide and they break connectors too often.

Finally, eGPU over USB
Now I can charge my shit faster

Apple's refreshing the rMBP line soon, so i personally wouldn't buy it. Unless budget's an issue for you, go for it.
Apple's refreshing the rMBP line soon, so i personally wouldn't buy it. Unless budget's an issue for you, go for it.
My budget is around $1000 but I think I can make it stretch to cover the overbudget costs.
The MacBook line is a good line of computers if you don't really have any specific use in mind for a laptop but just want one that, eh, works. [editline]13th August 2014[/editline] it doesn't so any particular task very well but really has no overall failings outside of heat issues, glossy as gloss gets panel and weight.

That actually pissed me off a lot when I had my school Macbook.

The refurbished one I'm thinking of getting came out almost a year ago so I don't really care that much about a refresh.
Doesn't really matter, Apple has shit-all marketshare in Europe, so it's not a real problem. Your own fault if you're dumb enough to buy an iPhone.
lol what
The MacBook line is a good line of computers if you don't really have any specific use in mind for a laptop but just want one that, eh, works.
can't someone have a specific use for a light laptop? a laptop with a colour accurate display? the rMBP has plenty of specific use cases where it really shines. not to mention it's actually a really tough laptop. you would be surprised [editline]13th August 2014[/editline] Razer Blade 2014 and the retina MBP are the best laptops on the market overall, imho. they're just so well constructed and have excellent support behind them
My only major complain about the Blade is the lack of ports.
do you need more than two ports where you won't have access to a small usb hub? [editline]13th August 2014[/editline] i have one legitimate complaint about the build of the retina MBP. the audio jack is only audio out. no way to use a 3.5mm mic with it :(

There are definitely cheaper ways of getting only a good display or getting only good battery life, but if you fork out twice the cash you can get something that is at least modestly acceptable in most cases with few failings. [editline]13th August 2014[/editline] also, good luck repairing one if it breaks even if they're built quite durable.

You can use a phone headset and it will use the mic on it, pretty cool.
do you need more than two ports where you won't have access to a small usb hub?
I honestly wish Laptops would have at least one thunderbolt port. They're perfect for eGPUs. Yes I have an addiction for eGPU possiblities
