a crop or stretch would be ok
I wish I could say "I just figured 21:9 content would play across my whole screen," but I did my research and knew most wouldn't.

But then you'd be cropping the image D:

I'd still get the whole image... just some of the pixels just wouldn't quite be right.
So my friend found an EVGA X58 Classified 4-Way SLI motherboard at a thrift store for $25. Brand new. Everything still sealed. All accessories included. And best of all? It works.
We're building a computer with it right now. He bought an OEM i7-950 for $150 and a refurbed NZXT Source 810 for $100 just for this build. The computer he was using before had an AMD Phenom II X4 955.

Wow, that's a massive steal. The EVGA X58 boards may have had some issues, but nothing that would stop it being worth quite a bit more than that.
You Sipwicketers think I had a bad day? Or you had a bad day?
One of my friends just let me know that hes having surgery tomorrow because his part of his intestine has spilled into his scrotum and they're gonna have to be cutting his balls open and taking bits out, and in the worst case scenario removing part of his asshole and cutting his taint open

That's the mobo I got, someone threw it away.
Went to a place yesterday night and heard 808 state and two other artists.
2muchtechnohouse4me, I'm still slightly deaf. I didn't come home until 4 and I had school at 8. yolos, right?.
school? wtf?
I don't even start classes until like september
I'm having a tripping time down memory lane with one of the best weekends of my life and I'm writing about it in a journal just to keep it on record before I forget it completely. I don't want it to be a blur. I should have done this earlier tho, some details and stuff are already blurry..
yeah it's like 2:30am and I can't sleep because of this..
School is for children and people who were more fortunate than me
[editline]14th August 2014[/editline]
Also a friend of mine asked me to fix her laptop....soooooo much malware, adware, bloatware, speedboost bullshit I couldn't get a webpage to even load. One window in internet explorer used 60% of the CPU before it became unresponsive from all the pop ups. Just gonna nuke it and start over.

I don't trust my own memory, that's why I record goddamn [I]everything[/I].
I have like 60 hours of footage from 2014 alone. Call me crazy, but archiving my life is awesome.
I'd rather forget most things
[editline]15th August 2014[/editline]
MGS3 has aged pretty well though. Playing it right now.

heh I take photos and videos of a ton of stuff these days, ever since I got my first cell phone I've been taking more and more photos because I now have a thin, portable, decent camera in my pocket that can also do something called phone calls!
I have hundreds of hours of video and thousands of photos from 2014 alone.
I should seriously make more journals and stuff to document events that I will probably forget about entirely in a decade..
Oops.

I don't know why, but I keep breaking things.
I can order computer parts through my school without taxes, if I can justify it as educational.
There's a thing where you're specifically meant to build a computer, on the first year.
Too bad I already upgraded mine, but I'll probably get some watercooling going on, since it's tax-free.
Does anyone here have any suggestions on a good backpack for university that can hold a lot of tech stuff as well as books? I need something that can fit two laptops, an iPad, some lined paper notebooks, and a big 3 ring binder, and I'd like them to be fairly organized. I know Ivar backpacks have internal shelves but I don't know if they're any good.
The new Steam UI looks like it's from 2008.

May I ask why two laptops?
Have a look what Wenger offers, they're good backpacks although I don't have one myself, my Dad has a Wenger backpack.
Let's play a fun game, go to Google images and search for [Any unannounced phone] concept/prototype
Introducing the iPhone pillow! Now with 20% less usable screen

The iPhone Pro! It's really awkward to hold, and has a 3D camera, also removable lenses, also we don't know how lenses work

Victorinox makes good gear for cheap. The Cadet might be right up your alley.

And it's only like $70 USD.
Also with a load like that I'd give a serious look towards messenger bags.

I didn't even realize but both suggestions are recommending the two different SAK guys. :v:

If you want something more utilitarian though, go to your local MILSURP store and you'll probably find something. Jansport is also a good option if you're on a budget.
For the record I used a gym sack as my college backpack.

That last one comes with a video,

The best ones are where they just don't have a bezel

Also try [OS] [Next Version] Concept on DeviantArt. It's absolutely incredible.
For Example, "Next Windows Phone". There's so many insane problems with it I don't want to even start.
