what did people say about it and link to it?

When I saw the screen, everything was nice and sharp. At a normal viewing distance, it looked just like my nexus 5 besides some color calibration differences and the actual screen size difference.

Don't be. It's a poor choice for it. It's an entirely spec sheet driven design, there's absolutely zero benefit over 1080 at the same size. Hell, even smaller. It's only going hurt graphics performance. It's long past the state of diminishing returns.

It is a 5.5 inch screen. Still it is pretty crazy they were able to cram that much pixels onto the screen. I generally can't see the pixels from my Nexus 5 which is 1080p on a 4.95 inch display and I think it looks fine.

I think something is wrong with the battery on my Acer ultrabook, too. It seemed to die in about 30 minutes of use when I updated it, and after putting it back on the charger, it's gone up about 16% in 4 minutes...

This fucking laptop I'm fixing. It's been updating all day through windows update, I had to restart it a couple times because it failed to download the updates(0% complete/0.0kbs download for the half hour I left it alone) eventually it downloaded all 90~ updates. Then I tried to update it to 8.1 and after requesting it be restarted after another hour of downloading updates, it sat at the boot screen saying it was setting up for another hour. Then when it finally finished that, I got this:

Fuck me. So I go back to the windows store to retry the upgrade and it hadn't finished downloading the 8.1 update, but it requested a restart...anyways I tried again and just left it alone. It's been at this screen for a while, I was starting to think it was locked up since it'd been stuck at 82% for about 15 minutes but it changed to 83% as I was taking the picture.

Is it windows 8 that's annoying, or this HP laptop being annoying? I've never dealt with W8 on anything other than cheap laptops so I'm not sure whether I've experienced it or not.

decided to take a picture of my g3 and my old padfone 2, and it's pretty clear LG did some sharpening since there are a lot of white spots around the text

it's not a totally fair comparison when thinking of resolution and one camera being better than the other, but it should give a good representation of the difference between the G3's display to something else. one has a lot of white spots around the font aka sharpening, and the other does not. much more comfortable to read stuff using my old phone

My main thing was wanting to get to certain areas, and in the process my focus was on knocking everyone out I found.
