All I can think would be one of those portable chargers that run off AA batteries, but they'd normally just use a regular 5v jack
I had an old camera that used a jack to serial converter, maybe this is something similar? [editline]23rd August 2014[/editline] Although, that right there is a female USB connector. hmm, maybe it's for some kind of cheapo tablet?
So I was going through laptop adapters left for recycle today and clipping the ones with bad voltage. Forgot to unplug one before clipping item. My hair is just now settling down.
First impressions compared to my Denon D2000's Significantly closer bass. Isolate like canal earbuds. Almost no sound stage. Everything sounds extremely close and flat. Depends on the music obviously. A lot less comfortable. Lots of plastic. Like a ton of plastic. Even the pleather feels cheap. So far, I'm pretty disappointed, but I'll use it for a week before doing the "review" on the video. I switched back to my Denon's and instantly everything feels better rounded. The sound has depth and the bass feels better defined. Though I'm comparing 350$ headphones to 170$ ones. Edit: That's not to say they sound bad. They sound fantastically clear. Just I suppose I'm used to my D2000 feel to them.
welp i'm stuck on nvidia legacy drivers now i can tell this is gonna suck
Well the sound is opening up a bit which is good, the distance in songs seems to be widening and feel a bit spread out. Hard to describe.

They are worse than my construction earmuffs. I'd lengthen the headband but it just makes them slide down my head. it's simply applying a ton of pressure to my head making my jaw and teeth hurt after like 15-20minutes. I keep having to take the off.

Apparently the internet at work runs 1000x faster if I run it through a SOCKS proxy at home. Even with my relatively small 6 Mbps upload. How do I even.
Don't know why, but there's something endearing about having decent hardware in a battered old case. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5831868/Photo%2023-08-2014%2001%2024%2046.jpg[/t] [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5831868/Photo%2023-08-2014%2001%2025%2039.jpg[/t] Core i7 860, 1TB HDD, 4GB for now RAM, 9800GT and a dell inspiron 580 board. Getting the HDD to fit was pretty fun with the heatsink being so close.
...
Quick question, i need to replace my graphics card. are there any steps i need to take to ensure a new one i am going to buy is compatible with my motherboard etc?
not really basically if you have atleast pci-e 2.0 it will work if you want to sli i think it would better to get one with pci-e 3.0 because 16x in pci-e 2.0 is the same as 8x in pci-e 3.0 you should also look if you have enough wattage for the gfx card too
well currently i have a nvidia GTX 450 and im going to replace it with a 750
ack. that price [editline]23rd August 2014[/editline] Are you at least going to get a 750ti?
well currently i have a nvidia GTX 450 and im going to replace it with a 750
the 750 doesn't even need an external pci-e connector so it would be perfect i would rather save up alittle bit more for the 750ti and get alittle more performance
ack. that price [editline]23rd August 2014[/editline] Are you at least going to get a 750ti?
i dont know much about hardware etc. is there a big difference or what?

(and the 750ti) this is the card i'm looking at getting: http://www.centrecom.com.au/gigabyte-gtx750oc-1gi-gd5-pcie30-10591137mhz-128bit?gclid=CjwKEAjw9-CfBRD8lt_w86zJiDUSJAADZA38hzoPS3xzqbqi2qza9ERqwqUY4nhZEIHE1xAEcIFAUxoCLTfw_wcB
Yes [editline]23rd August 2014[/editline] Size shouldn't be an issue either, since the 750ti is pretty small.
wait i skipped down the page a bit and was really confused about what the hell that was because it said 4k off of a 35 my gut says thats not possible im really confused
You can scan it at whatever resolution you want. It just may not actually resolve at that scan level. But quality film can easily do 4k. 5-8k thought you won't get much out of 35mm sizes since it's nearly APS-c sized with cinema 35mm, unless it's the best film in the universe it's likely it will just be grain at that level.
