That's a Nikon thing then. Most electronic lenses only have contacts on them.
IIRC only older lenses has this lever, and only more higher end cameras has this lever support on the camera body as well.
Anyone?
What does the process do? Google only came up with bullshit sites.
What does the process do? Google only came up with bullshit sites.
Yeah, that's kinda why I came here :P I think it might be do to NFC but it doesn't have anything near it that might activate it.
last time i tried flipping my lens to take a macro shot i had one of those lights you use for reading and my phone's flash constantly on on top of the thing but it'd still come out underexposed :(
you're doing it wrong. some lenses use a notch on the lense to change the aperture so chances are when you take the lens off, the aperture closes to F/22 or whatever the smallest aperture size is. find the notch and push it do open up the aperture. I noticed this with Nikon lenses but Canon lenses don't care and go wide open or something.

So if you want a specific aperture; set it, hold DOF preview button and pull it off.
Been a while since I have done any first aid stuff, but isn't the force required for CPR also supposed to/damn near breaking ribs? (i.e. not that they teach you to break ribs, but you gotta use a fucking lot of force.) Could definitely end up complicating things.
Yeah, you're gonna break a few things. You could say that it's a complication, but honestly at that point a broken rib or two isn't going to make a difference.
IIRC only older lenses has this lever, and only more higher end cameras has this lever support on the camera body as well.
all of the g lenses have that lever. not sure about the rest [editline]25th August 2014[/editline] it's how the old film lenses can still use them for the most part. it controls the aperture F mount is pretty much entirely backwards compatible where as EF isn't. only older non AI F mount lenses can't be used without some modification on modern cameras [editline]25th August 2014[/editline] also, nikon cameras do indeed close the aperture off mount. canon EF lenses do not

(and you're supposed to be calling for someone to be ready and kneeling by the other side of the guy so you can switch, and for someone else to call a proper paramedic, etc)
Yeah, you're gonna break a few things. I don't know how I didn't break his ribs.
I can get a used z5500 for 150 bucks, worth it?

chances are they won't even update the website if someone doesn't show up
is anyone here really good with scripting? i need to get a passport, but there's no available timeslot for me to go there and get it done. the asshole at the agency wants me to be there every day at 8am to see if, maybe, if someone doesnt show up, i get to get it done. the alternative is opening their site every few minutes and checking to see if theres an open slot. he basically humiliated me today because i got there at 9h40 (i live pretty far away from the agency, i need to take 2 buses to get there). i have uni and im starting work, so i cant just give up on everything to go there everyday and hope for the best. im feeling seriously bad about this, and if anyone could help me out it'd be great. if i dont get a passport i wont be able to go to canada in december and $1500 go to waste /rant /beg
http://visualping.io/ ? I'm taking AP Comp Sci this year through an online course. It's a grant my school got, there are five other dudes (all a year older than I) taking the course. Anyone have any experience with it? I like to think of myself as slightly above average in computer-aptness, but I've never once coded in my life. The whole year is Java Java Java
so...posting from my new dorm, feels good to be in charge of my own destiny
Good luck. A bit of advice, don't do a bunch of stupid shit and fail out. Not that I know.
speaking of college, mine is gonna start tomorrow. Frosh week. Queue the parties, booze and other stuff.
Been a while since I have done any first aid stuff, but isn't the force required for CPR also supposed to/damn near breaking ribs? Also, first aid training was cool. I was the only man there :v: [editline]26th August 2014[/editline] Oh and I got my salary for the first 2 weeks. mhhhh That money would be enough to get a Macbook pro retina.....
speaking of college, mine is gonna start tomorrow. Frosh week. Queue the parties, booze and other stuff.
Miss that. Now it's all "work 40 hours and take as many long ass tech labs as you can"
Miss that. Now it's all "work 40 hours and take as many long ass tech labs as you can"
I know mine will consist of "spend as many hours in the library editing my crap on a Mac and in the editing suites editing more of my crap" later on. Either that or bum around like what a lot of college students I've seen do.
Fucking 10 credit hours this semester for 21 in-class hours. Fuck labs. Also lab fees. $610 in lab fees at a community college for 10 credit hours.
Save money by getting your books in a digital format online for cheaper.
Trust me, I get my books in the cheapest digital format.
Save money by getting your books in a digital format online for cheaper.
I shall find the cheapest source. well apparently students tell me to not throw money on textbooks yet, wait and see if the prof is even using it and whether or not the resources are available online. Chances are everything will be done online for my program which is good, no need to print anything, etc.
Save money by getting your books in a digital format online for cheaper.
When I was in school, the books were mandatory in physical form, and must be bought from the school itself.
When I was in school, the books were mandatory in physical form, and must be bought from the school itself.
that's dumb as shit I bought these on an online textbook site and saved over like 200 dollars.
