Jesus fuck. I want a tiny screen to put in this space,

But I get all of these view finders for cameras that are expensive as fuck or screens that just go nuts with specs that I don't even need.

Generally when talking about penis length it's referring to erect length unless otherwise specified.
CIPWTTKT&GC v0x22: Dick Discussions
Okay, I have a really fucking weird case going on here.
For a site I manage I was going through the logs for the download server and I noticed a discrepancy. One file has a vastly higher download count than any other file. So I dug.
- They all download sub 1MB of the 15MB file.
- It's a shitload of different IPs, all different /8's, too.
- All from China.
- They all have an IE6 Useragent
- Each IP has about 3-4 download attempts
- None of the IPs have tried to download anything else
- They all refer from the right place.
- The page they refer from, according to GAnalytics says no one from China has visited the page using IE 6. Now keep in mind, GAnalytics relies on Javascript and... well, IE6.
So I'm just gonna go out and ask if anyone here knows ANYTHING about this, or has even seen similar. I've never seen anything like this, it's weird as fuck.

I'm genuinely considering it's something to do with the Chinese Govt and their Internet policies but this site really doesn't have much reason I can see to be targeted for anything like that but I have no idea what they'd with the first half a meg of a zip.
Lol a spambot got owned while trying to send me spam, and this ended up in my inbox instead
I do too. I can think of so many things I really don't need to do that I can do so well with them.
I have no idea what happened
The spambot's IP got banned by the email host for mass sending
probably to find out what protocols and how the connections are working, aka their looking for a back door and an excuse to flood it
...somehow I don't think so. That would look a lot different if they were doing anything close to that.

I did just bid on one on eBay but got outbid, so probably going to wait it out for Alienwares little box.
I can get two 22" 1680x1050 monitors to replace my two 17" 1280x1024 monitors for dirt cheap. Only problem is the two 17's only fit in portrait as is and I don't know if the 16:10's will be tolerable like that...

Foxconn makes a cheap one. But ya know. It's Foxconn.
so they gave me a free laptop to use for this online ap course... it's got an internet filter built in somehow, I can't get around it. I've tried everything, proxies, zenmate, browsec, https://, I can't get past it. There's no process running in the task manage for it, there's no program installed in control panel. It's called iBoss, help me

I'm guessing direct IP didn't work either?

Nope, but strangely that doesn't bring up the filters webpage, it just says webpage not available. I'm really stumped

Are you sure its an actual program on the PC? Usually web filters are set up on the network.
Or does it do it on your own home network. You might want to look through Services.msc if that's the case.

What happens when you try things on other ports? Does anything weird show up on a traceroute? Maybe they're redirecting everything through a (possibly machine-local) proxy.
You could try seeing if you can boot off a thumbdrive with a Linux/Unix distro if you really need uncensored internet.
I've done this before by if I wanted to use a computer and I had my little HDD with me, I could plug it into a computer and work off my personal HDD and leave little trace of anything on the host PC.

that's pretty bizarre, is there anything special about the file they're trying to download?
could be something going wrong with a bot

Nothing special about it. The site is a TF2 Mod site so really it's just another mod (Not even a good one.)

Yeah, forgot to mention, even on my home wifi its blocking internet access.
Yeah, forgot to mention, even on my home wifi its blocking internet access.
Did you check the running services/your connection settings to make sure it's not re-routing your connection through some pre-set proxy?

Does the filename have any sort of weird significance to China? Any way it touches on June 4 or 6/4 or 4/6? Or does it maybe have some steganographic content? Not sure how you'd tell, but maybe you'll figure it out.

Now I'm imagining some shitty tf2 mod that makes everything squares that he made on 6/4. tf2square6-4.something

2011-07-01, closest thing to stenographic content is the folder structure of the download server itself, so not really specific to the one file.
I was going to make a comment about other things that may set off red flags for China, but then I realized all their flags are red.

DBAN will get you out of a pickle. Be sure to have an image handy for restoration on to the drive if they happen to need to take it back.
