The Ice Tea flavour actually tastes like ink. No hyperbole. The pump is useful if you can get other flavours but otherwise bah, it's just as good as store-brand stuff, often worse.
Ink is the worst thing I've ever tasted. Quickly stopped chewing pens as a child though.

I chew pens but I also started chewing on charcoal.
It's not a good habit.
I ported my number like 6 months ago. My mom did too and he can call her.
That's an awfully long time for that to be the issue (but I have had it before, my GV # took nearly 8 months to work within my state border).
At this point, you are going to need to report the issue to his phone provider or yours as its definitely a telecom issue. I highly doubt its a phone issue on either end. I want to say its a Comcast issue as its their responsibility to route the call to Sprint but I'm no expert on switching equipment so its best you report the issue to them.
So my boss got a radxa pro and charged me with making it marketable to our clients. This should be interesting.
I finished working for the police station, though I'm still going to try getting the government Rogers plan (Not an amazing deal, though still $15 cheaper a month). Technically, all they ask for is a paystub and some ID, so I should be fine.
I drink more lattes than water. It's not healthy.
Lately I've been trying to incorporate some water and mate to mix it up, though that doesn't fix my other issue where regardless of size, I will go through an entire pack of cookies if I open one.
Oh ok.
[t]http://puu.sh/beQdi/dff200072d.png[/t]
I just drink water mostly and whatever juice, soda, special drink that is in the fridge.
I miss those 1.75L cartons of juice that I got for $1 each tho..
So I spent like two hours on the first assignment for my AP CompSci class... shit's tough. I've never done any programming before, but by god if compiling and seeing what you wanted appearing before you for the first time isn't the most satisfying thing in the world, I don't know what is.
Honestly it's probably like the most simple assignment and most backwards ass way of accomplishing the task, but I did it and I'm actually pretty proud haha.
It's supposed to be a little thing to introduce yourself to the instructor with some basic information found on a student information card. Not really much of a program

god damn it windows 8, somehow it auto installed updates and restarted the computer hence stopping programs and stuff
The gas bottles for that are so expensive though.
Isn't the gas is CO2 and it can be produced from vinegar and baking soda?
The SodaStream counter-top beverage carbonators are typically bundled with a 14.5 ounce proprietary CO2 cylinder, which the company claims to be able to carbonate 60 litres (13 imp gal; 16 US gal) of water. A few selected models can also accept a 33 ounce cylinder advertised as carbonating 130 litres (29 imp gal; 34 US gal) of water. When a cylinder is empty, it must be returned to a SodaStream reseller for replacement.[52]
The cylinders are proprietary and therefore not compatible with various pressurized carbon dioxide canisters which consumers refill inexpensively from local vendors for applications such as beer kegs, paintball, welding and fire extinguishers.
SodaStream claims that it does not sell the CO2 canisters to consumers, but instead "licenses" them and expressly limits how they can be used in their User License Certificate.[53] Local CO2 vendors are generally not permitted to refill Sodastream canisters ("carbonators"), which include a proprietary valve designed to prevent refilling.[54]
The intention to use the proprietary valve as an anti-competitive tactic is detailed in European Patent Application EP1382899, which states explicitly "One problem that may arise in the refilling of such containers is that of ensuring that the containers are only filled with the correct fluid and that the fluid is provided only from authorised sources. Current filling systems can be duplicated relatively easily thereby enabling the refilling of a container by another fluid and/or by non-authorised sources. A typical example are CO2 cylinders which are specially designed to fit into machines requiring gas pressure, e.g. for soda-making machines. Such machines for home use can generally be filled from any suitable CO2 source. Thus, the provider of the original containers cannot ensure that the users will only go to that provider when the user desires to refill the container."[55]
These mechanisms effectively elevate the cost of refilling a tank to 10 to 20 times the going market rate.[56]
According to SodaStream CEO Daniel Birnbaum, "We created a razor and a razor-blade business model. The razor is obviously the soda maker and we have three blades: the CO2 refills, the flavour syrups, and the bottles. So it's not a one-time sale -- the blades are our future revenue stream. We acquire users, build our installed base, and we cultivate those users for life."[57]
In Sweden in 1984, carbonic acid supplier Sydbrand, primarily a supplier of fire equipment, was sued successfully by SodaStream for trademark infringement for refilling SodaStream-labelled CO2 canisters.[58] In 2006, SodaStream lost a suit against the resale of its Alco2jet brand canisters on eBay on the grounds that the canisters were only lent, not sold.[59]

I refuse to read anything at all about any gaming/feminism debate because it usually makes me froth with rage. Stupidity abounds on both sides of such arguments, and usually the *best* you can get out of me is "you're right but you're being a smug fucking asshole about it so I'm not going to join your position on principle". So I don't have any idea about what the hell is going on with any of this, but it doesn't seem bad at all (unless they somehow got basic facts wrong about it somehow).
I still don't entirely understand what is going on but this thread http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1421478 has some good info I guess.
I tried staying on the fence but the more I read about it, the more I felt compelled to get off it. Journalists are blatantly lying, and anyone who dares criticize them is being censored. Sites like Vice are deleting long threads of discussion by anyone who dares to criticize it. Legitimate arguments on sites like Reddit are being deleted for the same and users and mods are being shadowbanned because they deigned to question it, and the mods who are doing the banning are giving vague rationale. Places like Polygon, Kotaku, and Escapist have been presented with clear, verifiable evidence that journalists under their employ have broken both international and on-sight codes of ethics and for the most part lampshaded it with sweet nothings, and refuse to take action, and places like Kotaku and RPS are illustrating their hypocrisy when confronted with the fact that Zoe has admitted to rape by her own definition and they absolutely refuse to talk about it when the very same journalists have been quick to demonize men in the industry just because they were merely accused of rape. To me this paints a picture that is very wrong that I can not just stand by and let happen. People are forcing people to be quiet, and no answers are given as to why. This is just scratching the surface, and volumes can be written about the things people are upset about.
Both sides have terrible people. Is harassment ever justified? Absolutely not. Is it a shame that things reached a point where Sarkeesian had to leave her home? Yes. Does blatant sexism exist in 2014? Absolutely. This does not, however, excuse the intellectual dishonesty, lack of journalistic integrity, lack of professional accountability, and lack of personal moral ethics by the parties being criticized. And that's why I care.
Sorry for kinda derailing, and I'll admit that I'm as biased and flawed as anyone, and I've made the mistakes I'm criticizing others for in the past. But it feels wrong, and I feel like spreading this story around so that it could generate discussion is the best part I could play. And that's all I really want; open, honest, civil discourse.

It seems to me that I can get them for cheap in bulk from places like Amazon.
Well yeah you live in the US.
Oh yeah, sorry :v:
Another tip though is that if you look around you can find legit syrup used by the big brands for soda fountains, and make the good stuff for dirt cheap. That way you don't gotta deal with the shitty soda stream flavors.

God knows there's plenty of material for it.

Honestly? the two worst parts about all of this is
1) How many people I utmost respect come out and say absolutely stupid shit and disappoint the fuck out of me, and
2) The people who come out and take one side in public (sidenote: You don't need to take a side, form your own fucking opinion.) but if you were to talk to them in private they would be *completely different people*. Done purely for the sake of taking the, to them, safer side of the argument when a lot of these people don't need to say anything in general about this (But that depends entirely on the person, keep in mind.)
Yeah, you're right. Simplifying the issue to sides is not doing it justice, and TotalBiscuit discussed this. It is not one side vs another, it's a million different opinions by people with their own individual life experiences. And I also would like to encourage you people to not just take my word for it. Even if you wind up disagreeing with me I would rather you try your hardest to do what you feel is right and honest in a civil, non-hostile manner so that we can discuss the issues at hand like respectful friends.

TBH I think both parties are kind of dumb.
I take Gaming journalism articles as serious as articles from theonion. Sure there are exceptions, but those are kinda rare.
And I think the persons who take this whole zoey thing serious are also dumb. This is playground level of drama.
In the end, it's a lot of drama over games again.
[editline]31st August 2014[/editline]
I'd rather have drama over programming languages. Now thats something I could get myself into!
I think it's pretty important, gaming is a multi billion dollar industry, and one good or bad review can make millions of $s worth of difference to the performance of a product.
