I was actually using swap
I have 12gb of ram
Suddenly, fonts.

I thought I turned off that clear type whatever bullshit but apparently not.
I'm actually doing fine on my 90GB SSD. Still 65gb left.
I find a 120GB fine but running Linux ends up with less bloat and I also have all my Steam games on a HDD.
Do Windows phones have any notable problem with their browsers? Are they quick? I'm looking into them and 90% of my phone time is just browsing, so that's quite important.
Does anyone else here have a set amount of hard drive space they like to keep free? I'm currently trying to keep at least 1tb of my 3tb hard drive clear, I'm partly scared I'll eat it up too fast otherwise. I started with 2tb spare when I moved everything over to it, eaten up 1tb in just five months.
I wish I had more hard drive space.. I have a few hundred GB free which will probably get filled by the end of the year or earlier.
Are you fucking kidding me microsoft?!
I just bought a fucking 1000$ wildcard certificate to replace the self-signed one on my exchange server.
And when I applied it and opened the web based admin console, I am greeted with this:

Thats it. Thats fucking it. Where is the fucking continnue button you shitfreaks?! I fucking know the cert changed. I am the one who did change it to a logitimate one you fucking shitbastards. This is why Webbased consoles are fucking bullshit.
This is why completly removing the "I don't care about some invalid Cert, just connect me to the site" button is such a terrible idea.

Are they even really a security risk? I mean, if you continued after seeing this message on your bank page or something, then it's your own goddamn fault if you get your info stolen.

So I managed to bypass the SSL block, and now finally got it working that the mails sent by the exchange server are trusted, and not deleted on receive by other mailservers.
Now I just need to be able to connect outlook to it.
[editline]5th September 2014[/editline]
Emails and Exchange server is so damn complicated. Especially the DNS Part.
PTR, TXT, SPF, SRV records everywhere.
[editline]5th September 2014[/editline]
And don't get me started on the nightmare of routing all the stuff in it's correct place and MX Records.
Few days ago we where playing around with switches and routers for CCNA, teacher and his assistant couldn't figure out why half the class couldn't get a connection with there routers or switches with Putty. They fooled around with it for almost an hour trying everything and as it turns out the power cord for the switch (I think it was a switch didn't get a good look at it) that moved traffic for that side of the class was unplugged :v:
Dark Souls Human only Run. Now that guarantees a warm welcome.
[editline]5th September 2014[/editline]
Speaking of Dark souls.
I kinda want to start doing some Dark souls runs again. Like the Random weapon mod run and such.
ohgod this is gonna be amazing.
I remember trying a no deaths run in DS2 and failed at the first trapped chest. I haven't played it since
I like how I have hundreds of hours of play time in Dark souls 1 and 2, but never finished a single one.

Email is just such a horrible system anyway, I'm surprised a better protocol hasn't come alogn and replaced it.
I decided to outsource management of it at work, best decision ever.
Oh they attacking again, lets see how many I get in one day, last time it was 3, I'm expecting at least 8 today as it's already at 6 attempts.
Re-installing Thief so I can actually finish it.
No game shall be left unfinished by next month.
Mass Effect 3 - Barely just started
Sleeping Dogs - half way so far I love it
Wolfenstien - Almost finished
Oblivion - barely started again
I have a lot of hours to put into games :v:
I've given up on completing a lot of games.

recommended O365, but due to high-profile customers, we are forced to store have have every piece of infrastructure on Swiss ground so they are objected to Swiss data protection laws.
I am loving O365. TB of cloud storage, access to the newer office itterations, use on more than one PC/device (5 for personal) and only 10 usd a month. The only thing I don't like is Outlook 2013 feels a little clunky...
Now if only the autodiscover for exchange is working, then I can finally use Outlook or MS Activesync for phones.
Funny thing is that Thunderbird des actually work, using the Exchange plugin if I manually point it to the EWS path, While Outlook completly fucks itself.
Also outlook gives cryptic errors, that don't even remotely relate to the actual problem (Says, Exchange is in offline mode, but the Autodiscovery spews nonsense.)

Considering how many bloody open DNS resolvers there are still left in the world, I'm surprised the Internet still even functions.

O365 is pretty nice, and I am considering getting it, with a custom domain. After I am done setting up the new work infrastructure, I don't want to install a single exchange installation anymore.
And I thought postfix was terrible, boy was I wrong.
[editline]5th September 2014[/editline]
The best thing was searching why the exchange does have DNS problems, and then I stumble on a forum entry that tells me that exchange 2013's standard behavior of listenting on any NIC is broken and does not work, and I have to set it to listen on the correct network adapter. After changing the setting, it actually worked.
Like seriously. it even says (Recommended) on that option to listen on all NIC's.

I still have to finish oblivion.
Last time I played. I spent 50% of the time in the SDK, creating my own small castle. It was amazing.
I should do it again.
I'm still wondering how much uptime O365 has.
Can't trust the numbers from Microsoft, they just say that some problem affected "a few users", whilst a majority of the users are unable to use their services, would need a third party service to monitor them.
I bet they're not hitting 4 9s though.
Probably still doing better than me, I think I'm at about 99.8% right now this year for my personal dedicated server.
last time i installed skyrim i spent literally 8 hours downloading mods (literally, and not counting the time it took to download the bigger ones)
i played for half an hour
every time i play it on 360 i get annoyed with loading times or lag and quit after 5min or i play for like 65 hours at once and don't look at my xbox for like a month after that
