If it's anything like my C course, within 4 weeks they'll be expecting you to encode messages into binary images then create and compare a checksum using your own hand written algorithm without any libraries other than math or stdio
Well right now my issue is input wont be used in variables. Which kinda negates the point of a calculator
Obligatory.

tar -xvf /admin/nekoware/incoming/foobar.tardist

I'll sell you my sl2s6 pentium 2 mmx :v: [t]http://oi62.tinypic.com/zmz528.jpg[/t]
I don't miss my old Proliant. It was massive, loud and slow. The new server is much more capable.
I'm almost done with this Hatoful Boyfriend review, and inside of it I wanted to do a new skit, but this time just like in the game. But the thing is I need a premise or a twist or some sort of drama to do. Planned on cutting out my face and doing the dialogue between the player and a character of me. done exactly like the game.
I'll sell you my sl2s6 pentium 2 mmx :v: [t]http://oi62.tinypic.com/zmz528.jpg[/t]
I'm thinking it might be time to upgrade the thing with the leftovers from my PCs previous iterations. :v: But thanks for the offer. SLOT CPU MASTERRACE.
Lets play a game of "Spot the bullshit":
The colour scheme makes it look like it's one pixel shorter on the left side of the 1x2 "Desktop" tile. At least for me. Maybe not for other people. Also, teacher sent orders for PC parts yesterday. Watercooling hype increases. I need to buy an aftermarket turbo boost gauge and somehow wire it to fan RPMs, and then put it on the front of my case.
It's easier to disarm a bomb than rating posts with a phone
Pro tip: tap the general area around where the ratings are at and they should show up.
No "Hang in there" cat wallpaper. Obligatory
Someone set the background on a couple windows servers on campus to that "Oh god how did this get here? I am not good with computer" cat.

Create Ze Vucking File! eXtract Ze Vucking File! That's really all you need.

Someone didn't take a photo of the District Associate Relations Manager so I added the same cat to the wall under his name.
Butt seriously. Think up some sort of melodrama where I can have a conversation with my Cresty-Senpai.
Flash custom ROM, and then go back to stock, once you realize that all ROM's are pretty bad.
Touchwiz on my Galaxy Note slowed to a crawl for no reason so I gave up and flashed a custom ROM. It's been pretty good, except for the fact that the camera app will occasionally decide to be a huge dick and reset my phone.
Are there any really good looking 4K screens yet? I mean not just in resolution but color production.

Cannot figure out why the touchpad and trackpoint on my thinkpad will randomly jump while scrolling. I have stupid gestures and crap turned off.
anyone here have experience with the guts of speaker systems? i lost the left channel in a really nice sounding cheapo speaker set, and poking around inside and checking caps didn't yield any results. It is the left speaker output, signal comes in, the output port only gives a signal when the volume is cranked all the way up. it would seem the amplifier does not amplify the left signal, only the right. I've gone in with a multimeter and confirmed that the mute button isn't blocking the signal, and I've traced the continuity back from the output to the board without any interruption.
think it will take "man tar"?
Had my first day of college back on my Level 3 IT course and it is the same old shit basically. Think I should of done an apprenticeship instead of another year on this course. Bloody bored of college (been there four years as it is) and probably education in general. I want to start earning some money for once.
Finally out of school and I don't regret a second of it. Finally some real work, and great pay. It's amazing.

JESUS HORSEFUCKING CHRIST You know that infamous fuckhead-developed module in our system? I've spent about two days now just PREPARING to fix a problem with it. Took half of Friday to do a full dump of a production system to our test servers (they had over 3GB just of logs...). Then I spent literally seven hours today trying to get the system to run AT ALL on test. Finally found the problem - somehow a rowid was getting double-escaped, so it was making a query as WHERE id IN ("'1'") That SOMEHOW managed to make it spit out binary gibberish in the CSV. I'm not even kidding, it was about 2KB of NUL or þÿÿÿ or ÐÏࡱá. So tomorrow I get to try to actually solve the customer's problem. It's not even a real fix, it's a per-client patch that breaks most things but will hopefully fix another thing.
And I'm still working on my file upload service. Slowly getting to the point where I like it. Still need to look after fixing some possible exploits and refactor some code bits.
ಠ_ಠ [editline]8th September 2014[/editline] Think of all the RAM going to the display buffers!
For my home server dude, my VPS's don't have a GUI lol
