Fuck this guy. I'm going to find him, then I'm going to kill him.

Fucking ninja ass merge breaker
Kiwi can you find me places to hide or smuggle me back to the U S of A when I kill him?
[editline]12th September 2014[/editline]
At least he doesn't claim that one is suitable for gaming rendering 3d CAD.

Possibly, can you fit inside and live in a suitcase?
It would have to be a sizable suitcase.

But whatever. If I get caught it will be a vigilante killing for the greater good. My ancestors will smile upon me, he cannot say the same. If I don't get caught for contraband fruit on my way in.

I always knew AMD made superior processors.
That feeling when you almost restarted a programming project because you thought it was lost. Turns out i thought i'd be clever and put it somewhere that i could see it instead of the normal place. I thought i'd lost like 3 hrs of doing and redoing the damn thing

Why didn't you use a Version Control System???
Why didn't you use a Version Control System???
Because i'v been doing C programming for about 3 days, it's not really gotten to that point yet
To point out, the thing i'v made took that long because i'm not too good yet, it's not really that advanced

No matter how small it is, Always use a Version Control System.
Started setting up Github to try it out, time to get used to it
Also anyone know how Github grabs avatars ? Because i had my Wrex avatar immediately without setting it up :tinfoil:

gravatar.
Ah that explains it. Though i'd started getting blackouts or something. Anyway, got it set up and semi working. The PC i'm using now gets wiped when i log out so git might not be too useful on this, but will come in handy at home
I suppose I've already complained enough about Mac OS X, but what's up with the mouse acceleration? I plug in my normal mouse, and it handles worse than a paraplegic on a bicycle. Am I doing something wrong? Can't see any options for disabling it. The back/forth buttons on my mouse doesn't work either per default.

Never really noticed the acceleration on the mouse.
So I was talking with amiga with a solution for online backups. I was between Dropbox and Backblaze.
Dropbox
$10/month
1TB
Inbuilt Sharing/Linking. Can browse files on phone, tablet, or anywhere.
Pretty great client which will autoupload and autodownload
Backblaze
$5/month
∞TB
No sharing.
Client auto uploads continously, but you have to go onto the website to download a zip of your files.
I just did the trial for backblaze to find out it's not really a sync program. It's one way, the client can't download it back down, so it's not nearly as convenient as Dropbox. So I'm conflicted.
And there is this:

Dropbox isn't really a backup service, it's just ~cloud storage~. You *can* backup stuff on it, but it's more for sharing files between computers and people.
Backblaze is a pure backup solution.
How good is ReFS for storing backups?
Backups will mostly be dumps from databases.
New AMD stock cooler for single gpu.

True. I just like how instant the client behaves with me updating files. So perhaps I'll stick with backblaze for "true" backups and then stick with drive and dropbox's free/cheap offerings for collaborations.
MacRumors is a pretty "fun" place to browse.
But it kind of seems like they're getting sort of better?
MacRumors is actually sane at times.
Now AppleInsider, AppleInsider is insane to the core.
I swear, this one guy there has pretty much replaced all his blood with Apple koolaid.

Pretty much what I do. The problem is my backblaze backup is probably going to never finish.

Since January
maybe exclude non-needed files right now?
Eh. It would still take a long time to upload I can imagine.
Australian upload isn't the best afaik.
I know it's awful, but as a means of prioritizing.
maybe exclude non-needed files right now?
Well, all the stuff it's uploading is the stuff I got into online backup services in the first place, so that's not happening.
I never have any ink when I actually need to print something. Grr
I really need to get a good laser printer for documents so I don't have to worry about buying ink (and occasionally a new printer because it can be cheaper than the ink)
I hate it when printers won't let you print because one of the colours have depleted, even if you don't need it.
I hate it when printers won't let you print because one of the colours have depleted, even if you don't need it.
I think there was a proper reason for that. Something about black also combines some color ink to improve clarity.
Thats just so it has the ink to do some Steganography and hide the printers UUID on paper.
Got a (cheap ass) Lenovo (not for me sadly):

Bloatware included: McAfee, Nitro Pro, some stuff related to third party stores and stuff.

Or worse: Ink cartridges intentionally not working at ~50% just to get you to buy more. We've had to deal with half-empty carts before so this is probably a real problem. :tinfoil:
