My Droid RAZR was a joke. Especially after a lot of USB tethering. I'd get about 4 hours of idle battery life.
The Droid RAZR was a good phone at the time
Not for battery life. Even compared to other second-gen 4g phones. Hell, compared to a lot of first-gen. The MAXX wasn't bad.
I used to have a Droid Razr too. I accidentally cracked the screen on in. Come to think of it, I still need to get those nudes off of it.
I loved my Razr, it was my first highish end Android phone.
It was a disappointment compared to what I could do with my droid 2 I had previously. Unfortunately it took quite a beating so I got the RAZR right at release. Was nice for a while, funny since my first phone was the flip phone RAZR, but the battery life was just unbearable once it started to age.
I loved my droid Razr too until my ex sat on it
im considering a ram upgrade but there is literally only one model of 2 x 4 gig ram that is compatible with my motherboard and isnt out of stock yet, kinda worrying tbh
The screen on my Razr exploded in my pocket. I'm not even sure how I did it since I was on light duty at work after blowing my knee out.
im considering a ram upgrade but there is literally only one model of 2 x 4 gig ram that is compatible with my motherboard and isnt out of stock yet, kinda worrying tbh
What motherboard?
What motherboard?
h61m vs, i found a model of ram like i said so ill probably just get that, just mentioning that its a bit of a bummer most compatible models are out of stock i hear you can use most ram that isnt on the compatibility list but when i was building this thing i did just that and couldnt get the machine to post, im pretty paranoid about that stuff now!

With the range of speeds and modules it's compatible with, I'm surprised it would have any issues with 99% of chips out there.
The screen on my Razr exploded in my pocket. I'm not even sure how I did it since I was on light duty at work after blowing my knee out.
Did the Razr cut you?
Did the Razr cut you?
I once tried to shave with mine. It didn't work.
I once tried to shave with mine. It didn't work.
I guess the Razr was as sharp as you~~~
Did the Razr cut you?
Yes. :(
i am in thailand paid ~$30 for wifi :( [editline]14th September 2014[/editline] it only works on one device at a time too muh cloud
Parallel compression with 8 cores feels so good. Running pigz in a VM that I allocated all my cores to, with maximum compression level (-9).
*poom* Power goes out. UPS fails. Fucking crows perching on the hydro pole agian. That's five times in five years.
I'll be getting my order of a 256GB SSD, 1TB 7200RPM drive, Corsair H100i and Corsair AX760 Can't wait to upgrade from my 5400RPM from my prebuilt.
Have any of you guys switched to LED light bulbs yet? I'm after something that has a fairly cool colour temperature - not a fan of incandescent at all.
Yep. They're extremely bright and only uses like a 1/10 of the power a traditional light bulb would burn.
We're buying a shit ton of them when we move. Sure it's expensive to purchase in NZ but they're fucking worth it for the energy savings.
Buy it from Hong Kong. They costs like two dollars per bulb and their qualities are just as good.
Link me your source on these $2 LED bulbs
http://www.ebay.com/itm/E27-3W-5W-7W-9W-5730-warm-cool-white-voal-LED-bulb-light-lamp-energy-saving-/171077859091?pt=US_Light_Bulbs&var=&hash=item27d508f713 [editline]14th September 2014[/editline] You can also find even brighter ones on eBay (ones that are somewhere between 10-30W), and those costs between $4-6 as well.
Thrift store score: 50kr aka $9USD. I have previously had a record player but got rid of it because not having a place to put it. This one is nice and small, looks alright. I had to re-adjust the speed a bit since it ran too fast on 33rpm records, but there's an adjustment control on the bottom of it so that was easy to fix. Here's a shitty picture of it. It's a Sony PS-J10, I don't know what year it's from but I'm guessing 1999. [t]http://i.imgur.com/AEfUsln.jpg[/t]
We're buying a shit ton of them when we move. Sure it's expensive to purchase in NZ but they're fucking worth it for the energy savings.
Don't you have to use them for years and years for them to pay for themselves?
What are the other parts of the build?
i7-4770k, GTX 780 and 8x2GB kit. [editline]14th September 2014[/editline]
Don't you have to use them for years and years for them to pay for themselves?
They are brighter and last pretty long though. I hate changing light bulbs.

If you don't ship to certain countries, then it's not worldwide.
Until my iPhone 6 comes in I have to use my old htc Desire HD. I rooted it a year ago and put android 4.whatever on it and never put a google play app on there. My smartphone is pretty much a dumbphone for a week. My recovery button is broken too so I can't restore it. On the bright side I got Destiny for free.
