Dollarama (for now) still sells incandescent bulbs. So long as those old style bulbs are currently the rage there will be no way China will stop making them.
Electricity is so cheap here that it's possible that we don't actually save money by paying more for fluorescent bulbs

Bought an MSI 970-g46 mobo from Microcenter, and the UEFI was really messed up.Exited the UEFI shell it out of the box booted to, changed it from boot to UEFI shell and saved those changes about 5 times before I realized the UEFI was effed up. Tried flashing it, changed nothing. In any case I went back and exchanged it for an ASRock at the same price tier and everything worked like a dream. I have one in my personal computer as well and have had zero issues.

I don't mind eco bulbs (when they don't have hideous spectrums, but that's an entire side issue you could write several novels about). My problem with them is that most of them are absolute pieces of garbage.
Want to use lights similar to track lights where everything has a different voltage range? Fine. Do it like track lights and let me put a real transformer in an electrical box somewhere in the wall by the switch so I don't have to worry about it starting fires or failing in the next 50 years. Then let me run those wires to my bulbs, and not have any of the tiny ass circuitry stuck in the socket where all it does is produce heat, faint buzzing noises, and fail after 5 years.
It's cheaper to do it this way in the long run. Yes, I know the cost of renovations are a problem. Keep the current stuff for a few decades, and make it a standard going forward. Planned obsolescence, and add incentives to it with taxes. If you are building a house/office/industrial building, do it this way. It's far cheaper to have a single big transformer powering an array than to have dozens of dinky little pieces of trash in every socket. You don't need to worry about size as much, can use heavier gauges of equipment, etc.

We've got a virtualized front system at work where if you scroll too fast the entire VM crashes and you have to reboot it on the server I don't have access to.

Our IT guys did this on purpose once, they wiped down a keyboard and grew the culture in a petri dish
You should also keep the cup with fungus and let it grow, then give it to him as a going away gift when he leaves.

He always says how hard it is to have your own apartment. Cleaning up everything yourself, managing budget, buying food.
Then I find out, his Dad pays for his apartment, and he basically lives for free in his own apartment.
Then he says that he doesen't mind his GF not cleaning up his apartment, because that would be sexist, but continues to be mad about the fact that his GF can't cook and says that all girls should cook.
