What kind of specs do they have?
Something like this goes for about $100. 2.4-2.66ghz dual core, 2-4gb ram, a ton have a 160gb ssd, only intel HD 3000 graphics though, not sure on the perf of those [editline]17th September 2014[/editline] Definitely fine for browsing and Isaac/Quake I'd imagine
That must have cost a small fortune.
Free.99 from my new job. Nothing we deal with uses DDR2 so the sticks were about to get scrapped/recycled before i nabbed them
I'm gonna be needing a laptop next year for uni, can anyone tell me what brands are considered the best these days? Having it stay cool and quiet is a priority for me. Also what sorta laptop would I need if I'd be just using Google Docs, along with browsing and light gaming (Binding of Isaac, Quake Live etc.)? I'm thinking of custom ordering one from Clevo but I hear they're not good on the quiet part I wanted.
Don't get a clevo laptop. They're bulky and the build quality is highly questionable. Look into an ultrabook instead.
Don't get a clevo laptop. They're bulky and the build quality is highly questionable. Look into an ultrabook instead.
Actually, my W230ST (or whatever it's called nowadays) was pretty decent at 4lbs for a 4700mq + 765M. However, it's true that the build quality is questionable and weirdly enough I love my refurb Acer V7 a lot more than any Clevo I've used.
So this is cool. [editline]17th September 2014[/editline] Although all the builds will probably have everything I hate in a flashy ass custom build.
That nasty backup solutions me of "Elvira". The hard drive I found in the landfill that smelled awful. The drive inside was fine for a year or so but it just......well I never wanted to know what was on it so you handled it with gloves.
Did you take a shit on that or something?
...
What, a landfill. Why?
I didn't see it :( [editline]18th September 2014[/editline] Also, good morning.
I'm assuming you mean my story? I can summarize it for you. It was To Kill a Mockingbird but replace the entire plot of the story with some dick and his ineptitude with partition tables, and apparent inability to troubleshoot problems before coming to logical conclusions. edit or something:
[t]https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-aq_IBWT5zLo/VBpyPRm9fDI/AAAAAAAABLA/gXplN96M_NQ/s0/2014-09-18_17-48-55.png[/t] morning kauk
or that there you go Also, good morning.
morning kauk
Well. Looks I need to get some coffee first to reflect on what I just read.
Well. Looks I need to get some coffee first to reflect on what I just read.
Glad you enjoyed it! the hilarious part is i just found this and i feel really stupid which is justified. i guess its a good thing that i can just restore the drive to its original state and put it in my old computer which i can put back together in an old dell case so i can do this properly. I've completely switched computers before with Windows XP and never had this problem and just installed new drivers, so im just inexperienced, but I have no excuse to justify my stupidity. im ok with this
