Why have Nvidia g-sync when you can have Xbox whatever-the-hell-sync
supposedly next year MS is going to release a redesigned xbone
how long was it between the xbox 360's launch and the release first redisgn?
Well I bought my first 360 in 2009 and it was fat and white. They fixed the rrod by then with a bigger heatsink though. Had a different power supply than the original too.

The DVD drive is dead now though so I bought one of the new 360 E ones, looks like a tiny xbone.
How does the TV work on the xbone though? I haven't seen an antenna port.
You gotta have a box?

But from where? I get my tv straight from the wall.

Cable box, I would assume. Or is that something that only really exists in the US?

Haven't used one in years, we get tv directly from the wall.
Though, if you have your own antenna or satellite receiver you could order a ridiculously expensive plan.
Not that i watch tv though, but it's there.

Coaxial from wall -> Cable box -> HDMI -> Xboner -> Whatever -> TV
Were we going to do a hangout or something.
There's been a CIPWTTKT hangout open for like, almost half a year.
I could throw invites to people, and we could do the video chat stuff at some point though.
Whoever was designing these headphones and thought "Yes, lets connect the metal band you're going to touch in dry weather to signal ground. Nothing bad should happen when you deliver a static shock directly to the sound card." should be shot.
if they use chrome, there's already a remote desktop app for chrome

Chances are if they're tech illiterate AND use Bing, they're probably one of those people who think Internet Explorer is the only web-browser for Windows.
Anyway, have a story that's not even funny, just pure rage-inducing - Had eight or so workstations which couldn't access the office intranet sitting next to eachother, so naturally I checked the ethernet ports on them, which are all connected properly on their end and likewise to the junction in the room - Which itself is also connected properly.
So, with the problem clearly not being on the local end I get someone on the horn from IT who has access to the router to see if some of the ethernet cables got unplugged or if something funky was going on with the network, VERY SPECIFICALLY specifying an issue with multiple stations - And immediately - Instead of whatever IT idiot I was speaking to doing like I asked and checking the router, he immediately asked me that fucking question of if I rebooted it. Of course, I immediately reaffirmed that it was an issue with *Multiple* stations lacking internet access and sure enough - He again asked if I rebooted it. What the actual fuck - He's telling me to reboot a single computer to fix an issue despite me clearly stating *twice* now that it was a network-wide issue. After me finally hammering it into his thick skull that I would have tried the age-old reboot the computer shit if it was a single computer experiencing the issue next to several fine computers, the situation still had yet to improve.
He asked me if I checked its network card - That's right. Again. Telling me to check a single station. At this point I am ready to yell at this fucking idiot. Several times over he has been asking me questions that were invalidated from the start by my initial request indicating it was across several stations on a network and not just one when he could have been doing his job and making sure the ethernet cables had not gotten unplugged/loose/frayed for the >22nd time this year. The only thing that is clear in my mind is the question to myself of how such an idiot got a tech support position and how he can not understand the basic concepts of networks when he is being corrected over and over again. The fucking cheek of him telling me to check a single computer's network card when clearly the issue is with multiple PCs with their own network cards which shouldn't be suffering the same hardware issue simultaneously.
Eventually one of his buddies took over and did like I asked after half an hour on the phone, simply checking the router and fixing an ethernet connection that got loose somehow - And sure enough, all the local workstations were back on the network a moment later. So - It took half an hour to fix something that could have been fixed in less than half a minute because this idiot/cunt/fucktard not only did not do as I asked, but asked a bunch of questions that I'd expect a little boy who thinks that computers run on magic to ask when I had blatantly invalidated said questions before they had even been asked.
I'm beginning to cry right now thinking there are people in tech-support/IT positions dumber than him - Because at *least* he knew what a network card was... But dear god, that was a horrifying experience to go through.
290x is shitting bricks, Crashes at the end of BF4 rounds (Probably just BF4 issue though), And randomly crashes on other games at random points everytime. latest beta drivers apparently reduce them but I didn't see any difference.
