I loved that part of my old job, but it didn't really come up that often. Built a nice pieced together desktop for a guy last christmas. He was a hard worker and didn't speak much english...and always wore purple skinny jeans. They tried to hire him but...I guess he "couldn't find his Social Security card", and then he stopped showing up. IIRC I put some GTX 285 in it, and QX9650 C2Q or some shit. He tried putting it together himself and fried a brand new Intel LGA775 Bonetrail mobo and processor.
I put together another computer for one my supervisors. His father in law bought a "gaming computer" off craigslist and it had a Athlon 64x2 with no thermal paste in it. I don't remember the motherboard I put in but the processor was an i7-920. Strangely enough it booted into Windows when I put the i7 and motherboard in place of the Athlon.
Also, was just cleaning my Gmail inbox, checked my spam folder and saw like 20 responses to a Craigslist ad I posted last month. Was pissed until I saw they were all bots trying to get me to join some porn and/or hijacking website.

Are you doing it as a Word add-in? If so, you should just be able to do Application.Selection for your selected text.

Well I'd love to see exactly what we're working with but my VS2013 is being complete and utter garbage. The window won't update unless it resizes, so clicking on shit is pretty much useless 90% of the time and you can't see what you're typing until you resize the window.

A keyboard faceplate with the keys and a dishwasher are your answer.
Trust me, I did this with four keyboards, all of them ended up spotless. It also works perfectly to sterilize it, and you have to do next to nothing except for taking it apart, and turning on the dishwasher.
