such a shame there's no fucking 16:9 resolution default. I'm pretty sure Win 7 had 1920x1080 as an option for your display when you installed it, didn't it?

Ehh, I haven't had that kind of trouble at all. I installed windows and I got 16:10 on my 16:10 display, 16:9 on my 16:9 display.

I think you can just download a savegame and slap it in there from a USB drive.
Anyways, it's not going to be fun to just have all the cars. But if you're the sort of person that is too impatient to actually play your games, then have it your way.

-840 EVO 250GB x2 (RAID 0)
-840 EVO 500GB
Its marginally cheaper to get two 250's vs one 500.

Get the 500. If you're really set on RAID-0, you can get a second 500 later on and then have even more space.
Fucking virtualbox. I have a 64bit install of windows as a hostsystem, a 64bit version of vbox, and then I try to install a Windows 8 VM, it tells me I don't have a 64bit compatible CPU, despite having all VT-X related things activated (in bios and VM).

500. you would hardly notice the benefit from RAID 0 on two SSD's, and you increase your risk of data loss. plus as wingless mentioned, better upgrade path
