I need this for a wallpaper.
Here you go, but this was basically my first proper northern lights shot and was taken with a Canon EOS 600D. So It's raped quite a bit to get rid of the noise, and won't look good in 1080p.
I'll be sure to get better ones with my 6D.
Yes, have one of my pictures:

What I wouldn't give to be able to live here.
No thanks
Too cold, expensive stuff
Can't take pictures of the clear night sky, the northern lights are in the way.

I'd rather live in the cold mountains than the hot tropics.
I found a softwareswap subreddit so now I can get something for all these windows 7 keys.
edit: http://www.reddit.com/r/softwareswap/
Got myself SC blacklist deluxe edition for a 7 key :O
So how's this for an upgrade?

Got it at microcenter today for $229.99
Oh damn, pageking
Looks like guy who designs intel packages hasn't learned to texture his zBrush models yet.
But on a serious note, I got one of those two weeks ago. Have with it.
So I'm having stupid git issues.
Most of my git stuff is on a Linux server, but something I'm working on now needs to have a repo on a windows laptop. I'm using TortoiseGit, and it worked fine for cloning the repo and pulling updates, and someone using a Linux laptop is having no problems. I can commit and everything just fine, but I can't push anything.
This is all it outputs when I try to push:
git.exe push --progress "origin" master:master
fatal: git-http-push failed
git did not exit cleanly (exit code 128) (265 ms @ 2013-12-07 9:04:31 PM)
I've checked the URL, it's right. I'm using HTTP, and I have my username/password in the URL, and they're correct.
Googling doesn't help - everyone else is getting an actual error message, usually an HTTP 504 or something stupid. Nobody seems to have any errors for no reason.
Ideas?
My 500GB 840 EVO arrived
Sweet jesus its so fast and quiet.

What should I do about windows pagefile btw?
Frankly with an SSD that big, i'd over-provision about 8GB and leave the pagefile on it. Make sure use the Samsung SSD Magician software, it makes all of the important tweaks shit-easy.
Yes, NAND has limited R/W cycles but you will probably replace it before it dies.

Tried any other clients like SourceTree or straight up git? Just to help narrow down the problem.
Tried any other clients like SourceTree or straight up git? Just to help narrow down the problem.
Tried a copy of git I happened to have in Cygwin, but that one was completely broken for even a pull due to broken libraries.

Figured it out, for some reason it demanded libcurl-4.dll instead of just the libcurl.dll it had installed. Copy&rename fixed it.
Still weird that it never output that until I managed to run it command-line, though.

That would be nice if I had money and also didn't have a GTX 680, which really is enough for now :v:
Also, I live in Lofoten.

You aren't a raccoon?
Fucking hell, everything's a lie.
the new VPN I'm using really makes my system feel choppy. whenever I load a new page, the openvpn.exe process robs me of 20% usage, followed by the system which also takes a lot of my CPU. is this related to the VPN or is there something else which could be wrong?

Have you tried connecting to the VPN without using openvpn?
Have you tried connecting to the VPN without using openvpn?
I don't have any options other than openVPN since PPTP and L2TP has been blocked for me
I'm so damn glad when I'm older.
I have a Dell SE198WFP monitor which is 6 years old, and it whines like there's no tomorrow.
Because A) It will probably be dead at that time or B) The whining of the thing is beyond my range of hearing by then.
Alright u fuckos im drunk and ready to chat
[editline]8th December 2013[/editline]
cmon guys don't leave me hangin
get in the irc thingy then
I'm starting to worry that my CPU is starting to see the light in the end of the tunnel. is there something I can do to check its health? system is really choppy even without the VPN. if I press a few buttons in steam, my music will stutter and the CPU usage of steam will skyrocket. when I post this, firefox will go all the way up to 30% usage most likely too.
how much does that cost around here when new? haven't found it anywhere
Around 7000 nok - 8000 nok.
