Or amd will make a case specifically for this.
Wonder if they'll make a 5990.
Wonder if they'll make a 5990.
coincidentally, that would also be the price.
coincidentally, that would also be the price.
Maybe in Australian dollars...
That card is long. Way too long in my opinion, then rather make a Dual slot card like the 7950 Gx2
exactly. it would be easily doable. the only problem would be the link between the two pcbs but id imagine they coul come up with some super dinky crossfire link for it or something
That's awesome, no way in hell I'd close to fitting that in my case though.
hey that's my motherboard
Wow that is one huge fucker. My 5770 looks like a little baby compared to that beast
Holy christ.
I think we need another bitch fight about how ATi's naming scheme is now retarded and that nVidias is the best thing since sliced bread
I think we need another bitch fight about how ATi's naming scheme is now retarded and that nVidias is the best thing since sliced bread
I hate ATIs naming scheme! the "X2" idea was better! now they're as shitty as NVIDIA used to be! speaking of NVIDIA, NVIDIA is really doing well!! physx + cuda rox and I really am exited about fermi!!
I think we need another bitch fight about how ATi's naming scheme is now retarded and that nVidias is the best thing since sliced bread
It's not really that bad, what do you think they would use? 1 = best, 10 = not best?
I have an m-atx and this should easily fit in.
I have an m-atx and this should easily fit in.
what?
you could bludgeon a grown man to death with this
what?
Just saying that it should fit in more cases that a lot of people would think.
I hate ATIs naming scheme! the "X2" idea was better! now they're as shitty as NVIDIA used to be! speaking of NVIDIA, NVIDIA is really doing well!! physx + cuda rox and I really am exited about fermi!!
But like almost no games use Physx or Cuda.
But like almost no games use Physx or Cuda.
And most that do use either or are just putting it in because they can.
That's almost as big as a full-length PCI controller card. Actually it might even be the same size... Time to buy an e-ATX case.
That's almost as big as a full-length PCI controller card. Actually it might even be the same size... Time to buy an e-ATX case.
Exactly. I think they should concentrate on making video cards smaller, because eventually if they grow at this rate we'll need new motherboard and case form factors that are fucking huge
That's almost as big as a full-length PCI controller card. Actually it might even be the same size... Time to buy an e-ATX case.
Isn't e-atx boards just longer? Not wider.
my 4850 is crying in a corner right now
my 4850 is crying in a corner right now
Why should a new card bother you, if the 4850 does all that you need it to do, then why want a brand new card when your current card does the perfomance you need, and anyway once the next series come out these will be the price of 4890's or less
Wow, if I put that fucker in my Antec 900, then it would jut several inches into the middle HDD bay and force me to bolt a card-stiffening bracket to that bay. It's nearly 5" longer than my 4850.
I'm scared
I have to get the HAF 932 now.
Thats one hot card.
I think the may need to make the Full, Full Tower Case! But I'll mod my 1200 for that thing! =D
Shit, I know what I am getting if my rig decides to keel over and die!
