Okay I just updated to iOS 5, will get some screenshots later.
I also noticed that either the wallpapers weren't added, or I just can't see them.

No wallpapers for me either.
I bet this will make my iPhone 3G even more unusable. For a company that prides themselves in simple to use devices, Apple sure as shit don't like keeping their "old" devices compatible and as smooth as day 1 do they? IOS4 ruined the performance on my phone, taking some tweaking through jailbreak to partially fix.
The 3G isn't supported! :v:
So... For iPod Touch 4g users, what new features will we see? Will we see the enhanced camera app, unlike the 3GS? How about notifications? Multiple-app downloads? iCloud?
Also, if your device is activated via UDID, then it's just install as normal, right? No special hacks or workarounds?
Also, since my UDID is registered, does that mean I've got a certified testing device through GM, or is it specifically for iOS 5.0_B1?
Woah. If you swipe to the right on the camera app, it shows your pictures.

This guy registers UDIDs for 8 bucks
Fuck that, first 5 people to pm me with your udid, I'll do it for free.

I've got my IP4 on iOS5 beta and seems to be working fine. Only that I used the 'workaround method' cause I'm not a developer. I think the workaround method has something to do with me not being able to access the Notification Center unless I activate the Voice Over. Also I can't sign in with iMessage but was able to access wifi. So I'm guessing its the workaround. I've tried the Camera.app messing and got crashed which brought me back to the setup page but sadly I had to do the whole workaround thing again.
Any ideas? thanks.
Just get one of us to add your phones UDID to our dev accounts and we won't need to work around.
Hi DogGunn i PM-ed you mine hope you can add it soon :)
PMed mine to DogGunn as well. (I feel like a slob for leaving my poor iPT 4G behind, although the version for the iPad OS *is* getting more features...)
I've got them. Ill do it within the hour if someone hasn't already done it.
I wonder if Yosion will update their Peel apps to work with notification center, that'd be pretty cool.

Just wondering, was I too late? I notice now two people say they've PMed you and you had two left?
Yeah you're fine. I'll add you guys in a min. The rest of the spots I need.

All the people that PM'd me are added. Sorry but I can't add anymore
Thanks, man. To iMessage we go!
Thank you for adding me too!
Awesome, thanks! So far it's working nicely.
Thankyou DogGunn, shows some people have hearts not to do it for the money. Although, some people would be desperate enough to pay I guess.

Once activated, what do it do now? It told me to update from 4.3.2 to 4.3.3 and then that was it.

Get the IPSW, shift-click on Restore in iTunes. This lets you select the IPSW you need.
[editline]10th June 2011[/editline]
And don't forget to get iTunes 10.5 as well.

It's a Secret Dev Thing as well.

Love the new look for Music, by the way. Pity they're whitewashing the word iPod out.

Yeah I'm not really a big fan of the music icon. Apple always advertised it as if you had an iPod AND a phone.
Does it really need 10.5? Hmm, want to get it :frown:
Wait so do you need to pay for the real IOS5 in fall or are they gonna update it for free?
I have to downgrade to 4.3.3. I can't stand not having SBSettings to adjust brightness on the fly.
Kind of sucks, but I'll add the next 5 people who PM me their UDID to my account.
Just jailbroken my iOS 5, not really worth doing until Cydia developers update their apps though.
Veency crashes at the moment, sbsettings is broken too I think.
Okay, installed 10.5 but it wouldn't load. Ended up removing it and installing on different HHD, worked then.

New iTunes 10.5 looks kickin' rad :v:
Seems a lot faster for me too.
Bloody hell, the stock wallpapers seem to have disappeared.
