I haven't used anything but spotify in about 3-5 months.
I haven't used anything but spotify in about 3-5 months.
Spotify lacks a fuckload of my music.
Isn't the rumored ~iRadio~ suppose to compete with Spotify and Pandora?
I don't want to use spotify because of the restrictions, and I don't really fancy having to pay for premium.
Isn't the rumored ~iRadio~ suppose to compete with Spotify and Pandora?
I would actually use this. Spotify is great for listening to one or two stray songs you don't want to buy a whole album to, but it's local file management sucks, that's why I switched to iTunes.
I would use spotify but it's not in Canada and using a vpn doesn't work anymore Rdio looks good (both figuratively and literally) but it doesn't have as much music
Spotify premium is a godsend for work. But it re-news tomorrow and I can't afford it until Friday because im going out for dinner.
I use iTunes and Foobar. Foobar is always fucking up for me and I have iTunes due to my iPhone.
I don't give a shit about my music player enough to sit there and fiddle with foobar for fucking hours on end. Yeah I get that it can be a nice program/look amazing and all, but all I do is click an icon and push the play button when I want to listen to music, that's where the interaction ends. And to people who say "itoons takes 2 much resorse" if your computer has half decent parts from like 2010 you can run it so if it really slows down your computer as much as you say then get a new computer rather than trash a program that you can't run on your 512mb Athlon 64 x2 shitbox. Sorry.
foobar has been nothing but trouble. spotify was sweet, minus losing local files somehow. itunes is alright, and it works with my ipod, but the best music played I've ever used has been by far Zune, back with my old 30 gb brick. [t]http://miksovsky.blogs.com/photos/uncategorized/2008/01/10/zune_player.png[/t] [t]http://www.liquidsilver.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/zune-1.png[/t] <3 ugh baby come back
i use itunes everybody always tells me to get foobar, and when i did, it was a mess, so nah

For Foobar I clicked on one of the default things, replaced a visualization, and left it as is.
i use itunes everybody always tells me to get foobar, and when i did, it was a mess, so nah
It sometimes fucks with my album art but it usually behaves for me.
Get foobar
bitch
damnit now i don't want to close foobar MUSIC FOREVER
I got grass finally working. Skyrim - Music = Great atmosphere. I love just hunting within the game right now.

Sorry.
Actually, as of iTunes 11, its not horrible. It seems fairly quick and responsive. There isn't a noticeable lag between Music/TV Show/etc views anymore. In iTunes 10 and the few previous versions, there was a pretty noticeable delay just switching between music/TV/movie libraries or even right-clicking. So noticeable in fact, that running a iTunes on a Hackintosh OS X install in a virtual machine was actually quicker than using the Windows one. 50 MB of RAM usage right now. I'm not going to complain when one internet browser tab is often more resource intensive.
Foobar is fantastic if you are willing to spend 3 minutes to set it up Clementine is pretty good too but it looks ugly This took me sometime to get all the plugins I needed (Mainly lastfm things and lyrics) but I can't use anything else now [t]http://i.imgur.com/j2r2FNM.png[/t] [sp]Yes I know all those visualizations are useless, I just like having some visual feedback[/sp] Itunes is fine as long as you don't mind the interface and the amount of resources it uses
ZUNE IS STILL BEST AND NO ONE IS GRIEVING WITH ME OVER THE LOSS OF THE GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO APPLE'S MONOPOLY [sub][sub][sub][sub][sub][sub]which I succumbed to when my parents bought me and iPod[/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub]
i spent like an hour and it still didn't do what itunes did and it's ugly too :I that reminds me, i deleted my fucking music library, and i need to re-start that shit why am i so lazy, GOD
I use NCMPCPP on Linux and Clementine on Windows, and a whole lot of Google Play on my Nex.7. Never had a problem with any of those three, except for Play Music's awful interface.
DeaDBeeF is good enough for me, I don't need loads of fancy features. As long as it plays music and can be minimised to the taskbar I'm happy.

And, I really like the visualizations. Specially the spectrogram. Without them and the album art the thing just looks like a boring filebrowser...
I would probably use F2K but I don't care enough about windows to bother setting it up, clementine is awesome anyways, it's my backup player on any platform. Plus it has built in rainymood!
There's an ipod integration plugin for foobar, I literally uninstalled itunes when I found out about that. [editline]1st April 2013[/editline] It even works with my ipod touch

Danke. edit: it works on nearly everything I have :v: even a bunch of badly tagged dubstep a friend gave me.
