On the topic of bitcoins, I am currently trying to mine litecoins. At 19/khashes
I wouldn't even come close to breaking even with power by mining litecoins. Perhaps I should buy some.
Oh man, I sprained my ankle. Fucking bad. When I was literally a foot away from my friend's car.
are raspi's still kinda not worth it? I was wanting to run one that I could VPN into at any time and do some C++ for my programming class, but I'm doing SQL, MASM and C++, two of which would be kinda hard to set up.
Oh wow. I just put my monitor up to 100% brightness for the first time since I bought it. The colors are so crisp, but I can't look at the monitor for more than thirty seconds and then down at the keyboard because I'm literally blinding myself. Back to 10% :( [editline]4th April 2013[/editline] deeps told me to post this for some reason
My monitor is brighter than my ceiling light, how can I tell? Ever since I got this one, the bugs have started preferring walking on the monitor This fucking annoys me
Speaking of, what's a decent router that can be had for like $30-$40 that a grandpa (read: I drive over there and plug all the shit in) could set up for around $30-40? My grandparents have a shitty Linksys that drops wifi and considering they both use laptops frequently its not working out well.
My friend started his new computer and it installed 9 updates. 2 hours later it was at 3 updates. I don't think he made a good purchase.
That's actually fast for Windows =P
Not sure if sarcasm.... Anyways it seems my mouse gave in. When I plug it in nothing happens, except the lights sometimes flashing. And when I press it downit lights up but I can't use it. [editline]4th April 2013[/editline] RIP mouse- A few months back - now.
HDMI cables are still horrendeously overpriced in norway. $50 dollars for 2 meters? Yeah sure, that's the price of the cheap ones. [editline]o[/editline] but at least they have *~~Gold Contacts~~*

Ever played Goldeneye 007 on a ds3 controller? I have. It's horrendous. I can only bumrush and pray to god I won't fail the mission.
My friend started his new computer and it installed 9 updates. 2 hours later it was at 3 updates. I don't think he made a good purchase.
what does that have to do with the quality of a PC
what does that have to do with the quality of a PC
Cause it was slow? It didn't download, it installed them.
Cause it was slow? It didn't download, it installed them.
...ok?
oh it took 2 hours to install them? well it could've been a servicepack [editline]4th April 2013[/editline] the way you worded it made it sound like there was 9 updates and then 2 hours later there was 2 more
Oh, yeah. Sorry about that.
I bought a HDMI cable at a regular store for somewhere between 20$ I think (3 meters)
My mother insists on using a file transfer website called 'WeTransfer'. Every time she attempts to upload something there, the router literally crashes. The WiFi goes down and I can't access the admin interface through Ethernet either. I asked my friend to bring his router the next time he comes. He brought it here today, just installed it, different brand, but running DD-wrt too. I start uploading a file to WeTransfer, a 1MB one. This one crashes too. Either someone on the DD-wrt dev team had a grudge on this site or something is really wrong about the site itself.

I opened up my MSI laptop, and what do you know? The laptop has enough space for 2 types of GPUs, hell it isn't even soldered in so I guess I'm lucky. Shit, a fuckload of dust in there.
God DAMN dual screen setups are nice, tried it today with my netbook and a school monitor. I need to get a DVI to VGA adapter and hook up that monitor I have at home.

You don't realise what you're missing out on. Sometimes I need that 3rd monitor so I can play, Watch TV shows / youtube / movies & Browse facepunch / read something else.
