The exact reason I bought a OtterBox for my phone.
Except I wrecked that box after 9 months, but by then I was careful enough with my phone.
Also that's exactly why the trend with screen class basically covering the whole front of the phone is pretty damn retarded.
My father still wrecked his Galaxy Nexus even with an Otterbox defender. He slammed a car trunk on it, and when the trunk didn't close the first time he tried slamming it again. Screen is cracked, but it's actually only 3 crack lines going across the phone from the left to the right. Not shattered all over the glass.

look at the action bar and the tabs the top of the instagram app should look like that everything underneath is fine anyway
[editline]3rd March 2013[/editline]
and you should be able to swipe around the tabs i mean seriously it's the best thing ever
Sure, that's the ideal IG look, but they'll never do that, so at least some little tweaks to the action bar/overflow menu would be good to make it feel more androidish
i tried making a folder on my phone and windows explorer just crashed
man i love mtp

That's not how that works.
That's bad UI design there, using checkboxes for something which can either be one or the other option.
Doesn't work on many current gen phones anymore.
edit: I mean, CM puts a "USB Storage" option there for some phones, but the latest ones can't support that anymore.
And MTP still sucks ass.
That's not how that works.
What do you mean? The PTP says you can transfer any files with it, not just camera files.
PTP allows me to move files off of a device but refuses to let me put any on.
I've just been using G.Drive and samba shares to transfer stuff, it's way faster than anything you can do over MTP
I usually just take out my SD card and put it in my laptop. Can't be bothered to find a cable or set anything up, and I don't really transfer all that much stuff anyways.
I should tape my phone onto my helmet and use it as a goPro helmet cam...
Been there done that
my LG KC550 couldn't keep up with my mad flow and fell into a snowdrift, didn't give a single fuck about it
Maybe you guys can help me, I purchased an SYLVANIA Netbook recently, and installed android on it, it works perfectly but there is an issue, the volume is stuck on the screen, and it rapidly goes up and down, It is running android 2.2, does anyone here think they can help?
Also instragram on the i9300 will force close if you take a picture with the flash on..
You have to tape it better

Must only happen on stock, just tried and works fine on the latest cm10.1 nightly.
Good.
I don't see the point in the app either, but you know if you're gonna make a popular app at least make it compatible with one of the most popular Android devices :v:

Yeah seems to be a stock issue, happens on my rooted i9300 with siyahkernel and my GF's bog standard i9300

Airdroid/Solid Explorer FTP reporting in.
Fuck cables.
You know what I hate? Having to login to a service every time a new app wants to connect to it, while I'm logged in to the app for the fucking service already.
Flash_Fire, didn't you get this phone for Christmas (or was that someone else)? How the fuck did you manage to break the entire screen in 3 months? My year and a half old S2 has one about 1mm wide minor dent on the top frame.
You people need to be more careful with these things D:
Took my friend (the one who wants the N4) 1 month...
Y'all be crazy

Dropbox and Drive.
Does anyone else have to forceclose the Facebook app, then reopen it to get it to actually update?
No, but sometimes it doesnt load up, just shows the standard Android 4+ gradient background and I have to close it from Recent Apps and open it again.
It's a shit app, nothing you can do here.
It's actually not a bad iOS app at all now. I thought they'd updated it on Android too because they forced the devs to use the Android app or something like that.

No. What phone do you have?
It's actually not a bad iOS app at all now. I thought they'd updated it on Android too because they forced the devs to use the Android app or something like that.
They did. From what they claim, they rewrote most, if not all of it. It's supposed to be native code now, as opposed to that terrible HTML5 they had.
It is faster, but it's still not really an improvement. They just can't make Android apps.

My friend disagree's, even on iOS it's a POS.

It's a ton faster after the last re-write of the app, but still laggs behind the iOS app in speed and stability.
