My friend disagree's, even on iOS it's a POS.
Well I'm using it right now, as I type this, and it's running fluid on a dual core Cortex-A9 at 1GHz and 512MB of RAM.
Well I'm using it right now, as I type this, and it's running fluid on a dual core Cortex-A9 at 1GHz and 512MB of RAM.
The problems are mostly in terms of loading, or rather, being unable to load new posts/login at times, not fluidity.
why the fuck does twitter have a google tv app but no decent tablet app [editline]3rd March 2013[/editline] or a decent phone app for that matter
The problems are mostly in terms of loading, or rather, being unable to load new posts/login at times, not fluidity.
I never had such issues even with the old HTML5 app, let alone the new one. For the tablet part, Android users don't seem to mind stretched out phone apps. Honestly a big push factor for tablet apps on iOS is that the scaled phone apps are unusable. Devs have no choice but to make a proper tablet app or users will go to some alternative that does have it.
No. What phone do you have?
i9300 running Cm10.1
They did. From what they claim, they rewrote most, if not all of it. It's supposed to be native code now, as opposed to that terrible HTML5 they had. It is faster, but it's still not really an improvement. They just can't make Android apps.
The FB app for Android is actually quite nice, I don't have any problems with it. [editline]3rd March 2013[/editline] It's also somewhat pretty. I just don't like how the news feed sorting works, it's rather hidden
i9300 running Cm10.1
I have no idea. It seems like my news feed updates too much...

Muy bien en mi opinión.
can I ask what's the point of phone fanboyism? every company makes utter turds, they're all out to wrig you for as much money as possible and a new one's released every year, it's just stupid to have fanboys

I can't help but feel a bit cocky.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/pKcbP0J.jpg[/img_thumb] ¿sí o no?
Sí. Está muy buen teléfono si recordo correctamente. Si ser barato también. God I probably fucked that up so badly. I'm only about halfway through my first year of spanish.
You won't even have to send it back iirc. How else did you think this existed: http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1207477
Note to self: dig out otterbox from junk drawer.

Personally speaking the Inspire 4G had a shit GPS antenna and a really subpar screen.

I have the i9000 with the older GPS chip and a WVGA AMOLED. [editline]3rd March 2013[/editline] You'll just be driving down the road with your i9000 and you'll go from the highway to the Atlantic ocean in a second.
Never cycle with your phone in your pocket guys
I cycle with my phone in my pocket so I can play my music through my sweet M16P in-ears How exactly did yours fall out?
note to self: get a phone with otterbox support
seriously. i'm pissed that they don't have one for the nexus 4
YouTube broke after the update, now I have to sign in every time to access by accounts subscriptions. So annoying and it also breaks the preloading too.

It'd randomly jump 50-100m around your actual location. Recently the GPS has been perfect, somehow I must have fixed it because I can even use it for walking navigation and it will still be accurate. Here's all the GPS related things that might help. Modem: XXJW4 RIL: XXJW4 FasterFix: au.pool.ntp.org (I live in Aus) GPS Status installed
Eh. I've done some tweaks to get it a bit better but it's a problem with the antenna.

putting a screen protector on my nexus 4 was probably one of the most stressful things i've done in my life
Doom 3 has jumpy performance during bigger battles, RtCW run perfectly.
Okay but that's in those games, not the OS. Android just inherently won't have consistently smooth animations throughout. Considering you're posting from an iPad it should be noticeable(unless it's the first one) that iOS runs better than Android overall with lesser internal hardware. iOS and WPX fans can just as easily feel smug that their favoured operating systems do and probably always will run better than Android does. Each system has its own merits and defending one to the death like some people do is just senseless.
