Really depends on the brand, though. And other factors (do you use a stylus? If so, what kind? Are you patient enough for a Ghost Armor, or should you just go Zagg? Etc...)
I get those really cheap ones off eBay. Free shipping and I get 5 for $1 for my potato.
Something that bugs me about WP8 that makes me wish I had Android: Absolutely shit battery stats. I have no way of telling what is causing battery drain.
Shit. [editline]3rd March 2013[/editline] It still works though, it's just very ugly Never cycle with your phone in your pocket guys Also the only way I could photograph it is using the front camera, so that's why it looks so weird

[editline]3rd March 2013[/editline] Don't even try taking off the glass, it's epoxied to the OLED panel and trying to peel off the glass with heat will destroy the panel and/or tear off the touchscreen/protective layer that is on top of the OLED.
That will be 200 dollars for the replacement screen.
The exact reason I'm screwed [editline]3rd March 2013[/editline] I might repair it and then sell it off to pay off the costs, then just buy myself a normal phone I've had my Android experience and it was a good one, but I need to stop spending so much time on my phone, it should be for calls and texts only, so this'll help
is amoled really that much more expensive than lcd
Flash_Fire, didn't you get this phone for Christmas (or was that someone else)? How the fuck did you manage to break the entire screen in 3 months? My year and a half old S2 has one about 1mm wide minor dent on the top frame. You people need to be more careful with these things D:
I had the scariest dream ever last night I dropped my nexus 7 off of my desk and the glass cracked everywhere ;_; I distinctly remember the touch function still working, which wouldn't be the case 9/10 times
I've had my Android experience and it was a good one, but I need to stop spending so much time on my phone, it should be for calls and texts only, so this'll help
Lol yeah keep telling yourself that. I've heard that from a dozen of people. None of them ended up buying a dumbphone or something instead of their smartphone. It's 2013, phones are not just phones.

mah merge :< [editline]3rd March 2013[/editline] damn you, FlubberNugget

Except I wrecked that box after 9 months, but by then I was careful enough with my phone. Also that's exactly why the trend with screen class basically covering the whole front of the phone is pretty damn retarded.
XDA theming strikes again, this time in video mode:
The exact reason I bought a OtterBox for my phone. Except I wrecked that box after 9 months, but by then I was careful enough with my phone.
I thought you got a new one for free if you wrecked it.
I thought you got a new one for free if you wrecked it.
Technically I've wrecked it twice. First time I could fix it with two-component epoxy. I doubt they'd replace one with visible glue marks.

It's 2013, phones are not just phones.
I'm talking about wanting to stop my dependency on electronics, if I just get a basic phone and an iPod touch I'll force myself to stop whipping my phone out every 10 seconds out of habit, but to be honest I don't think I can afford the repair for this, so I'll just keep it as it is and try and stop myself the manual way :v: Also yeah, that phone was for Christmas and I did fuck up, I kept it in pristine condition and made sure it never left the house without a case and screen protector, I even put tape over the camera lens to stop it getting any scratches, I just live a very active life and cycling with my phone in my pocket was a really really bad idea, but this is the price I pay (another reason I'd grab a dumbphone, I can't trust myself with glass screens :v:) Sorry if this comes out as a garbled mess it's difficult to use FP on a phone, that's also why you have a random rating
I've had my phone in my pocket all week whilst skiing! Still haven't got a single scratch on it!
I'm lucky that the screen is still functional though, I've told my dad that I payed for half-ish of the phone and it's my responsibility so I'll pay for any repairs and whatnot [editline]3rd March 2013[/editline] I've snowboard with a phone before, it was pretty safe because of the padded coat I wore and I only ever used it to call people at the end of the day
Is Falcon Pro worth buying? They've reset the App keys now so people can use it again.
Why does twitter even have that limit? People are still going to be using their service. It's twitters fault if their app is utter shit.
It's more difficult to advertise through 3rd Party apps I assume
God damnit I still don't know if the HTC One's camera is as good as they say it is. There are supposedly some samples here, but when I download some off that Zoe site (I fucking HATE that name), the resolution is god damn 1024x768 or lower.
It's more difficult to advertise through 3rd Party apps I assume
Broken fix for a silly reason If they want people to use their app, then make it worth using
the only social network (except for g+) to not fuck android up is instagram, which is quite ironic if you think about it

The instagram app could seriously use an overflow button in every view, not just in your profile view, and a redesign of the menu under the overflow button. Also put refresh into the overflow menu and add a search button instead of it. Foursquare on the other hand. That's an Android social network app done right (or at least it was not too long ago, but I heard they updated the UI a bit, not sure how it is now). Too bad I have no use for foursquare. edit: doesn't seem to be using the new Maps API though, that sucks.
ah, i forgot that existed :v: not that i'd know anything about that, since i never go anywhere :suicide:
Pretty much the same here :v: And the three times a year I get that social-whoring feeling with a need to check-in, I just use facebook. For places discovery, there's Maps(Places)/Google Now, so I literally don't have a single reason to use foursquare, but the app looks great.
