Because I speak positively of Macs.
More like shitposting about how "awesome" Macs are in threads that have zero relativity to it
They're "gamerware", which means they're way overpriced.
I masturbate daily to my case, but that's because it's actually good.
Unless it's made of solid gold I don't see how that's possible. :colbert:
it was probably loaded up on with like 30 monitors or something
no, it's because you're a brand wanking tool you've become an embarrassment to this section, just fuck off to /g/ if you want to brand wank at borderline troll levels
yeah you're right. I think I'm just gonna go kill myself or something. I dunno. Life without meaning, I try to find some glimmer of usefulness on the internet or playing stupid games, I can't even make friends on the internet. Why the hell am I even still talking to you? Right I'm off. Though in actuality I'm too fucking lazy to do anything so I guess I'll just lurk around. [editline]27th January 2011[/editline] This is my life at the moment: :smithicide:
long story short: ricer shit long story: ricer shit that is overpriced by about the factor macs are except without the os and software packages that macs have
Question: Do alienware's actually have that bad build quality? Because at least macs have good design and build quality, just over priced.
http://www.drumdumb.000space.com/ Look at the comparison on the bottom. [editline]27th January 2011[/editline] it's my unfinished site, and yes page3 info is wrong regarding ram.
Question: Do alienware's actually have that bad build quality? Because at least macs have good design and build quality, just over priced.
No they don't. MacBooks are made out of cheap chinese plastic. Design is arguable though.

He's using an apple cinema display. the glare is negligible.
What we actually should do is compare Alienware to other pre-build 'gaming' computer and see how it holds up. We all know home builds are better, but we're talking about a different audience here. Do you guys have any info / sources on this?
Asus G73 is better than any Alienware laptop, hell even their desktops. Just look at the specs for it. MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Intel Core i7 740QM @ 1.73GHz 50 °C Clarksfield 45nm Technology 6.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24) ASUSTeK Computer Inc. G73Jh (Socket 989) Generic PnP Monitor @ 1600x900 ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 625GB Western Digital WDC WD6400BEVT-80A0RT0 (SATA) 36 °C HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT32N Realtek High Definition Audio
laptop components don't even come close in terms of performing up to their desktop counterparts
It's worth every penny LOOK! I saved 319.99 :v:
And the specs I posted are still better than any Desktop bought in-store.
Look, you have a nice laptop and all, but its performance really can't even be compared to that of the desktop's.
Look, you have a nice laptop and all, but I'm sorry it can't even be compared to that desktop
I didn't say that one, I said any storebought Alienware.
I didn't say that one, I said any storebought Alienware.
Ok then. I'm sorry It's just that I didn't see any post here regarding your specs other than those of your laptop's so I assumed that you were talking about your laptop
Look, you have a nice laptop and all, but its performance really can't even be compared to that of the desktop's.
Uh yeah it can. I'm pretty sure that thing can max ore come very close to maxing Crysis. I'd say that's comparable to a desktop.
Uh yeah it can. I'm pretty sure that thing can max ore come very close to maxing Crysis. I'd say that's comparable to a desktop.
I was talking about the specific desktop that Flak quoted

Alienware is like a less extreme version of mac. Its overpriced but still a fine computer.
Wait, are we talking laptops or PCs...because I sure do miss that portable way of taking my steam games with me.
Wait, are we talking laptops or PCs...because I sure do miss that portable way of taking my steam games with me.
I was talking about laptops :/
No, you're a fanboy.
Mactrek posts some good builds in PC Building though
Desktops are overpriced, crappy hardware, etc. I have an M17x because I got it for $800 cheaper then from the site directly. They also have great warranties.
I wouldn't say it is bad hardware wise. Just extremely overpriced. Stick with iBuyPower.
