I remember in Windows XP that you could select it so that instead of hearing your voice, you would hear the music/sounds that where currently playing on your PC
It basicly removes your voice and uses the system sounds to broadcast.
Not really sure how to explain it.. But is there a alternative about how to broadcast sounds/music over your microphone to a game/client?
Uhh you can use "Stereo mix" as a microphone on windows 7 still.
Go to sound options > record tab > right click empty space > show disabled devices.
Should be able to enable it there.
'What u hear' is the same thing. Different Sound cards have different names but there the same thing.
As above.
A lot of people seem to have problems with the stereo mix on win7. I've googled for hours to try and find a fix but nothing has worked.
I've enabled the showing of disabled and hidden devices and everything, however stereo mix just does not work. It shows up, however, doesn't output any sound.
It's worked once for me, but I think since my last reinstall of windows, its stopped. (yes I have updated drivers)
When i first used Windows 7 it worked. Then one day it just refuses to work..
Strange
