UV cathodes really don't do that much. I have 2 UV and reactive fluid and it only looks nice with all the lights off and when my windows are closed. I.E. Night time.
still, it would look eerie like an glow emitter in gmod.
looks good someguest.
Thanks, the camera makes those LED's look alot brighter than they actually are tho. At night they are very subtle.

My next build is going to be all red. Red EVGA 295 with backplate, red UV liquid cooling tubes and coolant. Red EVGA X58 Classified motherboard with glowing red LED Northbridge, all in a nice black Lian Li case. Just waiting on that next paycheck. Most of my money has gone into my car recently.
be sure to post that beast and a worklog!
is all that money REALLY necessary? what a waste of money, no doubt.
be sure to post that beast and a worklog!
I will! Already got a spec list so I will be starting next week on it. Can still do SLI 295's with that.
is all that money REALLY necessary? what a waste of money, no doubt.
The same can be said to those who spend thousands on their car just to make it look nicer than others. It just so happens I can do both. Jobs are awesome!
how many 295 gtx's?
how many 295 gtx's?
1 for now, then I may do SLI in the future. Also I am going to grab a 260 to act as the PhysX.
if possible you should get tri sli 285's fastest multicard solution on the planet right now.
if possible you should get tri sli 285's fastest multicard solution on the planet right now.
I may, I am buying the parts slowly so it'll take me about a month or two before I even completely finish this build. Still working on the car so money is hard right now, just finished buying a 400$ sound system for it and an 800$ paint job. The classified does support tri-sli, I am just afraid of heat issues, going with tri-sli is going to require some serious cooling mods. I'll see how much the 285 drops in price since it will be the last thing I buy.
i would guess around only 329 dollars if nvidia releases a new card.

Unless of course you've already got the powertrain taken care of. :v I see enough of the 'all boom, no vroom' cars around. /off topic

I got '72 Camaro to take care of the muscle part.
my dad has a 65' mustang, and that is a muscle car, i can hear him all the way a block away.
Mine looks pretty good.
It must be my placement and the fact that that my case isn't closed. I wish I had more places to put my cathodes. Here is what mine looks like. notice how the whole tubes are illuminated. The last pic is with my green catodes one. If anyone has any recommendations for where I can put my 4 cathodes, Let me know. (Antec 1200 case) (12" cathodes) The thing that I don't like most is that I can see all the nasty colors of all my components. I got the green cathodes so I didn't have the ugly ass orange heat sinks and the red wires so prevalent when I look at it. I need some serious redecorating lol.

The KA responds very well to a turbo if you do it right (I prefer that over the SR20DET swaps).

I got a cousin with a 240 running a skyline R32(i think) /w TT. Ridiculous beast hes got under the hood. Maybe some day I'll work on that but I need to get settled a bit.

heh. In my part of the woods (no pun intended), the pinnacle of performance cars is a Ford Ranger with a lift kit or an F-250 STROKER DIESEL Instead of Japanese vs. American car fanboys here, we have Ford vs. Dodge vs. Chevy. I love rednecks.

What cathodes did you buy? The one that I have wont let me put one on the bottom because the square ends and the cables at the end add length.
is all that money REALLY necessary? what a waste of money, no doubt.
FUCK off. Seriously, if all you do is go into a thread with a great computer and bitch about how you could never afford it, you might as well just close your browser now.
What cathodes did you buy? The one that I have wont let me put one on the bottom because the square ends and the cables at the end add length.
Oh yeah. I forgot to mention that I took the little plastic cube off of the end of both of them. Just wiggle it and it will come off.
