I'm not a fan of cathodes. How did you get the holes drilled in the right place, did you get them straight?
I made templates
Are the HD's just attached with screws or is there some rubber padding
There is small blue rubber things seperating them, you can sorta see them on the picture

Ah, I see
Ohhh, very nice so far, this will turn out great.
Cathoded side panel looks great.
I envy the OP very much right now.
That looks better every time you post! Nice work!
How many hours have you spend building yet?
Probably over 100 because he can't just wait to buy everything then post.
Unstickied D:
I assume you're going to lap the CPU?
I assume you're going to lap the CPU?
I don't think it's worth it, for a max 2 - 3 degree improvement I'll be losing any hope of a RMA if the CPU dies.
The hard drive on the right doesn't look straight! :(

There is a couple of mm difference in the alignment, but the angle of that photo makes it look pretty out of line, where as I'm looking at it now and it isn't. The second GTX 295 is going to be covering them anyway so It doesn't matter, the only reason I put them there was because if not they would cover up the PSU
I demand GTAIV benchmarks!

Without graphics cards?

Actually, 3dmark06 allows you to bench the video processing capabilities of your CPU. I can run the game on now faster than 4 FPS through my CPU lol.

What's with that fabric in there?
What's with that fabric in there?
That's just the side panel, it's not attached to the computer, he probably has it laying on a bed sheet or something.
What's with that fabric in there?
It was lying against bed/something?
probably just set up to show you the effect it will have on the components in the computer when its actually on the side. to show where the light will shine and shit?..
Yeah just a old sheet I had lying around

The quick way to turn on a PSU

if I do this Will I kill myself?
if I do this Will I kill myself?
Nope
here's a little tutorial
http://modtown.co.uk/mt/article2.php?id=psumod
I just used a paper clip. As they have to be in those two sockets or the power supply will not start up, there isn't really anything you can do wrong. (Well it doesn't have to be those specific ones)
Yeah, it's perfectly safe. I'm using my old 320W power supply to play with peltiers. Attached a switch on there and it worked perfectly.
Do like progress!
Why isn't it a Sticky no more?
