I installed the new HDD and put Windows on it but it's still freezing then restarting, I also get the occasional BSOD [editline]13th July 2016[/editline] I'm about ready to fucking give up on this POS [editline]13th July 2016[/editline] I am back on Win 7 now, too [editline]13th July 2016[/editline] I did a FurMark stress test, no freezing. Doing a Memtest right now [editline]13th July 2016[/editline] Out of nowhere, it appears to be working. I ain't complaining. [editline]13th July 2016[/editline] I got another BSOD. Fuck.
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
i have a WD black raid array running for over 15 years now i think, havent had to replace the drives a single time, to the point that i am worried that if i have to il have to buy different drives and have to 'make the raid work' with lopsided drives
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD just then, beginning to think it's RAM. I'll try Memtest86+ later [editline]13th July 2016[/editline] Alright, this is a new one. DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, with Ntfs.sys apparently being the issue.
I give up. I can't figure this out, I think it's a ram issue but I honestly don'tknow [editline]14th July 2016[/editline] Wtf is wrong with my merges
Update the ASRock UEFI. It does this kind of stuff out of the box until you update. I've had this happen to me on Intel boards a lot, but I guess it can happen to AMD as well. [editline]13th July 2016[/editline] The kind of BSODs you're reporting all seem to be tied to hard drive controllers. It's ok, it happened to me too.
Updated my BIOS, it appears to be... working?
