Bitch just RRO'D, D:, I WAS ABOUT TO FINISH LEFT 4 DEAD TOO D:
If you don't buy one because 'it might break' you are retarded. Yeah it'll break, but it'll be under warranty, so who the fuck cares?
I prefer PC as it has the best back catalog of all consoles. And also even tho it's under warranty it's annoying to have your console shipped out for a month or so (in worst case). [editline]03:05PM[/editline]
I've never had a single Nintendo console fail on me on it's own. My PS1 and fat PS2 both wouldn't read discs anymore. My two 360's RRoD'd themselves just from me playing GTA4 so much. However, My PS3 is still going strong, and all my cartridge-based consoles still work fine.
True, my Wii hasn't had any problems in over a year, but it might be due to the fact that I play it like once a month as it's awful. Rock Band on the other hand is a game I bought a week ago, and I love it as it doesn't use the Wiimote, pinnacle of gimmickry.
I agree, but back in the day, Microsoft lost money on every 360 sold. However, they did make that up through gouging customers with ridiculous game prices.
Well yeah! But they are effectively giving the consumer two 360's for every one sold because of their warranty program. That shit aint cheap, and cutting corners in manufacturing actually means a lot more cost down the road because of this.
I have my xbox for 3 years and it died right when my 3 year warrenty ended. :frown:
