Yessir! :patriot:
Since I am keeping up work, I should show you guys my plan for mounting the motherboard in the case:
ZIP TIES!

:downsbravo:
You have inspired me, sir, I am going to build one of these in a Wii case with a 10" screen mounted on the side. Not sure what I'm going to do for input or mobile power though. Netbook battery and.......a cell phone keyboard? :ohdear:
Well geez guys I was just brainstorming :colbert:

I'm pretty sure your motherboard will be lifted too much off the chasis, causing spacing issues. You're better off using foam tape in this case
Netbook battery with that. Not happening soon.
Well I don't see why not. Average hardware in a netbook draws more power than this stuff.
You should install MDK for it. It's on steam now, magnificent game.

I already measured it out with the zip tie anchors and it fits fine. I considered foam tape, but decided that with the anchors things it would be more or less the same and for some reason I prefer the zip ties. Maybe I inherited my father's fetish for them :ohdear:
However the hard drive mount bracket and disk drive will be secured with double-sided-foam-sticky-tape(or DSFST, pronounced dissfest), the HDD directly to the top of the case behind the disk drive, the disk drive with small right angle brackets with screw holes drilled in them.
Is there such a thing as a clean windows 7 theme without aero? All the ones I see require aero to be enabled, which absolutely destroys the poor gpu. I mean like ten seconds to drag a window from one side of the screen to the other. I just want something clean and preferably gray or black mostly, since I'm using a very dark background:
Hell, if you can find a better one, I'm all ears. I chose this one because it has an x86 compatible processor, good video processing for media playback, and some good ports for me to use. Sure it's expensive, but it's great quality. And TINY!

Yeah, don't expect that level of craftsmanship from me. I'm doing even better. I'm using ZIP TIES!
My next build after my mid-range build will be a miniITX inside a Xbox original case, not as crafty as a pico inside a HDDVD drive.

Dunno if you've seen this or not, but I'll point you here since it has some pretty good advice: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1026728-My-Xbox-360-PC-Mod-%28Dial-Ups-Avoid!%29

That's because that was the inspiration for that project. It's called the Level 11, enough of a clue for you? It's a fascinating thread, I suggest people read it.

I never read that, i'll look for it though.
Agh, this UltraSharp is turning out to be a bust. It's extremely wonky. The image is decent, but the color is WAY off. I have it, my MacBook Pro, and my Samsung SyncMaster 930 all next to eachother right now showing STEAM and the color of the text on the UltraSharp is green. If I change the graphics preset to "multimedia" the text turns white, but everything else is just ever so slightly red. It also makes it hard to view anything on the Syncmaster since it's overpoweringly bright and crisp and high DPI compared to it.
And I was supposed to find a 30" Cinema HD Display.
:suicide:

Tried degaussing it?
Also sounds like there might be a loose connection somewhere in the VGA cable.
You can't degauss an LCD.
But If the VGA cable is removable from the monitor itself (most are like this) try another one.

Oh god, I though he were talking about some of the old Dell CRT's used mostly in the 3d modeling industry back in the 90's :downs:

Uh how do you degauss a LCD screen?
Uh how do you degauss a LCD screen?
You put thermite in the bezel then light it up.

Holy smokes it worked!

Running it off my desktop now using DVI.
Get some of the early Command and Conquer games. Red Alert + Tiberian Sun.
Forgotten about those, thanks.
Trying to find ultra thin/flexible SATA/IDE cables, anyone know of any? The ones I got are hard to use since they are so hard to bend.

You don't want to use them. They break very easily, and are unshielded.

What about these?
http://www.cooldrives.com/index.php/9-sata-ii-ultraflex-30awg-thin-sata-300mbps-data-7-pin-cable-with-latch.html
It says 30 gauge. By shielding do you mean insulation? Or some other kind of shielding? Also found out that I can separate the individual cables on my IDE cable to make it more flexible.
