Fatfatfatty? Or whatever his name is.
Thought I'd just post this here instead of making a new thread. Excuse the shitty phone camera quality but it's still readable:
Unless you're a hard drive manufacturer. Then, it's whatever you want.
To quote Western Digital: "As used for storage capacity, one megabyte (MB) = one million bytes, one gigabyte (GB) = one billion bytes, and one terabyte (TB) = one trillion bytes. Total accessible capacity varies depending on operating environment. As used for buffer or cache, one megabyte (MB) = 1,048,576 bytes. As used for transfer rate or interface, megabyte per second (MB/s) = one million bytes per second, megabit per second (Mb/s) = one million bits per second, and gigabit per second (Gb/s) = one billion bits per second."
You must know of at least one of these games.
[editline]15th December 2010[/editline]
Well, what did your teacher think?
I've heard of Fable, never played it.
I've heard of Fable, never played it.
Same, never heard of ANY of the others.
Those games are more associated with "Peter Molyneux" than with the actual studios, at least to me. Might be because he's a "celebrity developer".
Same, never heard of ANY of the others.
Well, I guess I overestimated typical gamer knowledge. Anyway, if you are into sim/strategy games, I highly recommend them.

...WHAT!?
I am offended.
When Black & White came out, I got incredibly giddy, because Peter Molyneux overhyped it to be the BAST GAME AVUR.
I read the reviews in PC Gamer as if in a trance. It looked perfect.
After I got my hands on it, I played if or a bit, then realized that it didn't live up to the hype. Still a good game, but like everything Molyneux gets his hands on, blown out of proportion.

When I saw Fable, I was like "hey, cool."
Then, then I saw Lionhead on the package, I was like FUCK DAT SHIT. I'd had enough.
Also, to clear this up:
KB: Kilobyte. 1 KB=1000 B
KiB: Kibibyte. I KiB=1024 B
Look it up if you don't believe me.

Was a good game plus it's expansion.
Community died and Music copy-right infringement finished it off..

Oh god, I still have that CD.
And I'm going to bring back the phrase "you're as useless as JPEGs to Helen Keller".
It's been blocked by Vevo, Can someone repost?
I'm guessing it's "It's all about the pentiums"?

yup.
I was talking to my friend about antiviruses and he told me he has Norton, He thinks Norton is the greatest because of a CNET review giving it a 4.5/5.
CNET gave Avast a 5/5 (user rating is 4.5/5)

On the topic of Avast, while it is a fantastic antivirus (I have the paid version installed on 4 computers), my friend reports that the free edition now downloads from Brothersoft by default.
We're all doomed!

S/he must be doing it wrong. It doesn't.
I use Avast on all of my Windows machines.
It's not the best, or the worst. It's enough. And I have ClamAV scanning all email so whatever.
I've seen up to 3 TB magnetic tapes, but they're rare. still cheaper than 3 TB disk drives though.
The tape might be cheaper, but the drives are no where as close.
Our school IT technician tells us that unplugging the VGA cable can destroy the motherboard :b
