Wow, FUCKING wow.
I come home to, I want to move some files over to my newly setup server, Won't connect. Say to myself "Oh great, What the fuck has he done now", I look over to my dads desk to see a windows 2008 R2 server 180 day trial, I yell out "FUCK" and goto my room to see that another spare CRT is hooked up, So I turn on the CRT to see a similar wallpaper as last time on windows shitty UI, and scream out "FUCK" and snap the keyboard across my knee, I goto look for my files. EVERY FUCKING THING IS GONE! Every. Fucking. Thing. My Raid Partition is Destroyed! Fucking gone, My Raid 1 setup is fucking wiped, So I can't even TRY to fucking restore my things! He's installed Server 08 is on one of my 1TB instead of my 80GB which also is wiped, So Now. I have the win 08 server disc in my dads computer right now, I'm going to see how he fucking likes it, I'm going to unpartition his 2'nd drive (Shitty Prebuild) Install Server '08 which deletes everything on ALL partitions so He's going to know my fucking pain, Then I will unplug every fucking thing of his and destroy his mouse by taking it apart, ripping things apart then putting it back together and unhooking his power button. Then I will duct tape both his monitors together and smash his head in with them, He's fucking dead, HALF MY FUCKING LIFE WAS IN THAT SERVER, All my models, Backups, Animations, Renders, Resume's...
He's fucking dead.
Stories like these make me so appreciative of my father who can't even click the left mouse button.
I'm gonna break the combo now. It's funny sometimes, most of the time it isn't.
Thank god, what would we have done if someone had not gone out of his way to break a combo that didn't even exist.
Good, that means the after-after-burners are kicking in. You should be able to play Crysis on, like, double max, all the way.
thankyou! although i've had to replace my keyboard and mouse and the fact that my house is almost burnt down, i really can play crysis on double max all the way over my triple screen setup

OH GOD I COULDN'T EVEN POST.
A quote from my boss, who ordered to format a co-worker's work laptop that had to be downgraded from Win7 64-bit to Win7 32-bit due to compatibility reasons -gotta fucking hate all those OLD AS FUCK apps most businesses still use-:
"I heard mostly games benefit from 64-bits OSes, but for the rest of the apps we use daily, it doesn't make any difference at all"
...
I refrained from facepalming right that second, because if I had, I'd now have a scar in my forehead the shape of my hand.

Oh and, he still thinks XP > Win7 and Office 2003 > Office 2007 and 2010...

My brother couldn't figure out why nothing was printing.
The computer that the printer's connected to was off - it's connected via USB to it, and then shared on the network. I heard he was trying all kinds of things.
He's great though, he's giving me his old PC and having me build him a new one.

He's actually part right about the 32bit / 64bit thing - no office is going to be opening 3gb files in Word or Powerpoint. Maybe Excel, if they do their spreadsheets horribly wrong. Unless your office does CAD or Photoshop or something, I don't see too much benefit to 64bit.

The little window on the left edge of the screen. IIRC, those are mainly used by tablets, or sometimes touchscreens.
Just looking up on the videos about Rage and i see this comment
Dude but u could get a 2 terabite* ram drive and u probably cant get that anywere else and its a good company what if u make a boot leg computer
The subject they was talking about was on Alienware and how they are expensive etc.

Yup I realize that, but if I were him I'd rephrased that and I would have said "...but for the rest of the apps we use daily, the difference is rather small and for now we're not jumping on the x64 bandwagon" and I wouldn't have looked like a tool :P
But the whole XP > Win7 he likes to spout every once in a while is getting old and really annoying... HHNNNNGGGGGGGG
[editline]12th November 2010[/editline]
OH! Also, he _LOVES_ to dl free stuff from Mediafire/Rapidshare/etc, instead of using the official homepage/channels... for instance: When he updated his Firefox install, instead of pointing to firefox.com and hitting that big green "Download Now!" button, he went to some obscure forum, found a Rapidshare link and downloaded it from there...

Why the hell would he do that? It makes no logical sense. That's like driving 4 hours to get a fucking Twix instead of 4 minutes to the convenience store.

I honestly dunno, man... he just does that all the time...
Notepad++? He first googles for some forum, gets a Mediafire link and downloads that version; he doesn't even check if it's the latest version or anything... *sigh*

I think that might just be a window that he's shoved to the side.
The little window thing, an On-Screen keyboard will pop out when you move your mouse pointer over it. Its mainly for people who removes their keyboard from the desk to make space for the tablet.

Though I hate it because when I'm trying to draw in MSPaint / Select a tool in PSE8, it pops up

Methinks it's time for a defrag
Reminds me that I have to defrag too, but there are some strange large files in C:\System Volume Information\ that can't be moved or viewed. What are they?

System restore files.
Why does everyone keep saying that Eurphoria is a game engine? It's just an awesome physics engine, If anything. Nothing more.
Why does everyone keep saying that Eurphoria is a game engine? It's just an awesome physics engine, If anything. Nothing more.
"Bullet" is the physics engine. Euphoria (not Eurphoria) is the animation engine.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullet_(software)
That's why I said "If anything", It's more of a Physics based animation engine.

Pff, wimp. My little brother had to defrag his HDD recently.
It had a fragmentation of like 70% somehow.
