Well that's even better than a wallstreet.
Red Faction Guerrilla or all three Flatouts.
I bouhght all three Flatouts. $4 for all of them is a great deal. Too bad the Steam servers seem to be getting hammered hard right now, so I'm having trouble getting them to download.

I bought those too
Hooked my laptop up to my brother's 40-inch LCD TV, kicked back with my new gamepad, played New Vegas.
'Twas epic.
Should I post pics of my WIP watercooling?
Oh boy. A friend wanted a new case for Christmas, so he picked a fairly nice one with a large RGB LED fan on the front.
I get a message from him this morning saying he installed everything, though it doesn't turn on. I ask him the basic questions like if he installed everything right... Then I get to asking him about standoffs. He didn't use them at all. The computer didn't boot until he removed everything from the case and plugged in his old PSU. Could've been worse, his motherboard and CPU could've been toast!

I accidentally forgot the standoffs too with my own machine. I was like what, why it's not booting.
Looked at the back, the ports naturally didn't match up since the motherboard had moved.
"Oh yeah, standoffs. Fuck".
Disassemble, use standoffs, worked after that, no damage done.

Just wait until you see the graphics cards
So, after our family's Christmas party was over, I was talking to my father about upgrading my video card. Now, he's saying I'll need to purchase a new monitor before I can get the card, because "If it's on too small of a screen, the game will have problems fitting everything on it".
Now, I wouldn't mind getting a new monitor, I'd love to have one, but it's not something that is a necessity for me. My main problem is the fact that my father isn't letting me get a new video card UNTIL I get the new monitor. Now, I'm not one to complain about things like this usually, but this is ridiculous.

I have 3 260's in one desktop and 2 580's in another. Come at me bro :v:
Hoping that I can push the 950 to 4.3 at least

He's retarded, but he is slightly correct.
Specially with MMOs, anything like 1366x768 or below will be extremely cramped. But anything above that is fine for anything.

I'm content.
I overwrote the BOOT MANAGER ON MY NEW GODDAMN NETBOOK TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO INSTALL LINUX MINT ONTO A SECOND PARTITION BECAUSE THE BIOS SETUP UTILITY IS A PIECE OF SHIT!
.... Needless to say, I am very. VERY. Angry with myself.
No, my name is not FatFatFatty or whatever it was.
At least you didn't erase your entire hard drive while setting up UBUNTU.
... Yeah that would've sucked. $80 would've been wasted on a Windows Starter upgrade to Home Premium.
Now I just gotta figure out HOW TO FIX THE DAMN THING...
I scared myself by accidently reformatting my new 16GB flash drive so it only had 250MB, then i fucked up even more and got it down to 15MB, now I managed to fix it and it's back up to the original amount :buddy:

Insert set-up/install disk > repair > cmd > bootrec.exe /RebuildBcd
IIRC

No install disk. No disc drive either.
Insert set-up/install disk > repair > cmd > bootrec.exe /RebuildBcd

Actually I believe with Windows 7 the setup disc when run in Repair mode will (most of the time) automatically detect the bootloader is corrupt and fix it itself.

Bootable USB?
Yes.
Friend is helping me fix it with Ubuntu and GRUB....
He knows his stuff about this and he's a good friend.
Says a borked MBR is not the most horrible thing that can go wrong and can be easily fixed.
GRUB is also good because I want to dual boot.
