Grow up, You should realize that he's eventually gonna get himself killed.
Not soon enough.
I once knew of a nice sounding shop like this. It had Walls plastered with computer components, and they posters for stuff like half-life in the LAN gaming area. The stuff was reasonably priced compared to the rrp and a checkup was free. Then one day, they left with all the stuff people had left at the store and were never heard from again.
Kind of computer illiterate, well it relates to some idiot named Tuck in the PC Building section. Odellus made my day today. [editline]17th November 2010[/editline] I should frame this.
If there's no longer any content I will close the thread. Please post to clarify why I should not do this in the next ten minutes.
Why do you kept on banning people for being off topic? If the regular visitors of the thread decides to go off topic and enjoys the content regardless, I don't see what's wrong about it. Besides, we're not even THAT off topic, as we are still talking about computers and such in this thread, not about pizza and ice cream.
Ok to bring back thread on topic: Anyone know those people that think a computer's performance is based on the size of their hard drive? I hate that. Sometimes at my school I hear people ask others how much space their Macbook has. "250 GB :smug:". Ugh.
I only know two people with Macs. I like Macs, and I'd love to work in 127.0.0.1 (:v:) since I could help people get a decent build for £300 and stick two fingers to DSG

Lets start a franchise! We can base it off the 192.168.x.x format, So we can do 192.168.(Country).(Storenumber) Using gmans idea! [editline]18th November 2010[/editline] Except the Country would be a number, Like the first country would be 1 and second would be 2 and so on, Would be an awesome franchise.

Nice store." -"192.168.1.3? That's in another city, we have .2 here." "Huh? No we don't, .2 is on the other side of the whole country, .3 was established here just a few weeks ago." -"Was it? 'Cause I remember .4 coming around a while ago." "How about we just call it 'The nice PC store in this city'?" I can see there being some confusion about the naming.

The OS is not bad either, and the functionality of it and Windows is too similar for me to have a preference over one. HOWEVER, my friends think that PCs are slow yet they wonder why they get so many "spinning pinwheels of doom" or "beach volleyballs" when they have Firefox, Chrome, iTunes, an iMovie project, Word, Stickies, iChat, and Photoshop open on our Mac's with 2GBs of RAM (a bit of an exaggeration but not by much).
If there was one of those in easy driving distance from my house I would totally get a job there. It would almost be like the computer section of Newegg in a retail store :buddy:

Perfect.
We have to do a wiki at school becasue the teachers couldn't find a better two week assignment to give us (We only need this 3rd assignment becasue the principal, who happens to be retiring when the 2 grades below mine finish school, which is 2 weeks or so after me, said so) Part of it is leaving constructive comments I went to the page about computer programming to find this
ere I will show you how the computer is build up how it works. Let’s start with CPU. CPU: This is the CPU stands for "Central Processing Unit" this is the brain to the computer. This is why you can run different programs at the same time. If you press "CTRL+ALT+DEL" you can take a look at the CPU. The job to the CPU is to run programs you want the computer to run. When you click on a program the RAM is getting the data to the CPU. RAM: This is the RAM stands for "Random Access Memory" this function work is to give the data to the CPU so the it can run a program. If you have a lot of RAM you start up the programs faster since they send more information faster to the CPU. How do we communicate with the computer? Only way we can communicate with the computer is with a "Key bored" and "mouse". Without the mouse and key bored we couldn’t do any tasks on the computer. When we do a task on the computer we can see it on the screen so displayed on the computer. So the Screen is the output and input is the "key bored" and "mouse" AMU: This is the Hard drive of the computer it stands for Auxiliary Memory Units. This is why you can store data on your computer if this didn’t exist you couldn’t store anything at the computer. This can be called your root of the computer "C:" Secondary AMU's: This will go under the name CD room, Floppy disks, CD, This can be called secondary storage places on the computer. This is normally used to copy important information on so you don't want to lose. Why should I make a copy of important information? Well sometimes things can happend to the computer like the Auxiliary Memory Unit Crash. This will say that the hard disk wont boot up. Or maybe you get Virus infection so is destroying your computer.
So much wrong here
I'd pay YOU if i could work there [editline]18th November 2010[/editline]
We have to do a wiki at school becasue the teachers couldn't find a better two week assignment to give us (We only need this 3rd assignment becasue the principal, who happens to be retiring when the 2 grades below mine finish school, which is 2 weeks or so after me, said so) So much wrong here
Link please?
Oh god, What is the link to that?
Corporate headquarters should be 192.168.0.1 (my default gateway).
It can't be linked to, its a "wiki tool" inside the site that we have to use. It's one of those school things that really sucks, and doesn't seem to work at all outside of IE. http://elearn.eq.edu.au/webapps/portal/frameset.jsp Thats the log in page. I can get a screenshot if you want, but I'm not sure how to prove i didn't do it in 5 minutes. [editline]18th November 2010[/editline] List of pages The page in question. Its the second internet programming on the list [editline]18th November 2010[/editline] And that "Best OS" Page says Linux based on price, and doesn't mention artistic crap, so its not all bad.
I wan't to kill someone with that terrible layout and sample images.
This assignment is due last period tomorrow (Last night assignments are the best way to do them), so there is no chance of helping this guy change it.
Key Bored
Well someone was.
If you ever decide to open up in Sweden, I´m in
The store chain will be popular. IPv4 isn't going to cut it. I call shots on 2a00:1018:801:1000:1:0:f51a:b059
I was waiting for an IPv6 address to pop up to do with the store :v:
Wingless, why is your dad a dickhead?
