If there's one single piece of evidence to prove that mankind is a perverted thing that should be put down, that is it.
If you mean Encyclopedia Dramatica, you just made content out of yourself.

wow... people REALLY need to learn the difference between "then" and "than"... that's all i got out of that mess.
all I got was that you tell your friends you know a lot about computers and then don't actually help them when they ask

Not my friend just someone on MSN, and she thinks because I use program that she doesn't such as Spotify I am some kind of computer wizz.
What can I do to get a ping? More RAM? What should I do.

I'm asking is if you could improve your computer with more RAM and stuff that It will allow you to get a ping and let people on. I have determined that I have no ping what so ever from using the Server Info Announce with the Check ping command, and my friends can't join. I'm thinking more RAM could fix this, or even upgrading my laptop (even though it's really good now) would fix this problem.
My friend and I were discussing whether mine or his wallpaper was better, he sent me a screen cap and look what i found.

And now he tells that he is working for machinima for an upcoming halo film, and asked me to help him make a build, i did and he tells me he has no money and how should he be able to get it. :v:
Also, tiled wallpaper :byodood:
_MACOSX is a folder stored in every zip file made on a Mac. So nice try, but you proved one thing here.
Content isn't out of stock.

It's completely possible to be fully computer literate and not know that. I didn't know about that, probably because a) I rarely work with Macs and b) I don't often work with .zips, being more of a .7z or .tgz guy.

He has norton.
Bwahahaha
_macosx folders aren't just for compression. They always show up on my pendrive when I lend it to someone who is using a mac. If I remember correctly, the folder is created to store information about what is in the folder it itself is in, such as the layout of the folders. Another one to keep a look out for is _trashes, which is the folder a file is placed in when you delete it, which is a bit of a pain when you can't figure out why a seeming empty pendrive has no space left on it.
And on the desktop screencap, you could pretty much criticise about on thing per row on his desktop. There is just some many things wrong. I don't think I could stand having a quick launch bar taking up such much space.
i know this because years ago I would download PSD files in zips and they would contain a _MACOSX folder.

And thus explains why Windows doesn't use the recycle bin on removable drives

.trashes also, as these are on linux.
Happened to my PSP
Would this count as content? I just started my "Principles of Web Interface Design" class, which is basic HTML, CSS, Javascript and such. I already know most of it, but I didn't challenge it, since I figured I could use a refresher. The teacher was demonstrating a basic web page, and mentioned that he typed tags in all upper-case to make them more visible. I commented that that would make it invalid XHTML (he did go over XHTML vs. HTML earlier, so I wasn't being a smart-ass). He didn't think that was the case, but proceeded to check with the W3C. Five minutes later, it turns out XHTML is case-sensitive.
The guy's teaching a Web Design class and doesn't know XHTML is case-sensitive. I believe the former counts as "thinks he knows things", and the latter is a bit of "doesn't know things". Thus, content.
That satisfies as content, wait crap he has norton installed? i gave him mse because he said he has no anti virus. oh god, i told him to run the scanner over 100 viruses found. Thats what happens when you dont have an av. Dang what else can i find wrong.

But you're bringing up Pico, widely considered the most effeminate text editor since TextEdit, while us Real Men were talking of Emacs, vi, and ed.

Easy > Hard
They used little lights to get the response from code. We don't use it. Why? It's harder than the alternatives. Why are we even on the subject of command line text editors anyways?
(oh yeah, my bad, sorry)

Yes, the original vi and ed have no place in modern usage, except for situations where other editors cannot function.
Emacs, however, is the most capable editor around, hands-down. Syntax highlighting for hundreds of languages, more extensions than Firefox, and remarkably fast, considering the size. Most importantly, it has a built-in Tetris. Can pico do that?

fyi gvim. original vi, original ed, original emacs have no place in modern computing.
