My first though when seeing that picture was: So harry potter has 2 golden retrievers, and a borderline pedo smile
Yeah, I'm not good at smiling :saddowns:
Found this on [H], thought it would fit in this thread. My shitty integrated card didn't work with the resolution. Even then, I think I only spent $30. It's fairly useful to have around for troubleshooting / backup purposes. Cheap, and motherboards still have PCI slots. I actually lent it to a friend who needs to RMA his GTX 480. Using that hunk of shit, he can at least browse the internet, talk to people on vent and IM due to his motherboard not having integrated graphics. If he wanted to do any gaming, software rendering would be quicker with his 6 core AMD CPU...
My dad bought me a video card today, he told me to choose any card I want. I chose a GTX460. When we came back home. He told me "I wanted to buy you the GTX480 just now". I regret choosing a GTX460 now. :saddowns: By the way, My brother was deleting some stuffs of my parents PC, he deleted stuffs like CCleaner and Speccy. He said it was a virus. He also end up downloading those bullshit programs like, Anti-Malware Security Tool 2010.
I have a 460 they're pretty good actually. Considering the rest of my hardware is over two years old
Yeah, I'm not good at smiling :saddowns:
Practice makes perfect my boy. [editline]22nd November 2010[/editline]
I have a 460 they're pretty good actually. Considering the rest of my hardware is over two years old
I want one so bad! but how different are they from an over clocked 260 216 anyway.
[img_thumb]http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/8343/photoon20100623at18072.jpg[/img_thumb] Oh god, what.
I know a kid who looks exactly the same as him where I live He is also a mac fanboy
I know a kid who looks exactly the same as him where I live He is also a mac fanboy
What state do you live in?
Why should I stop? I see a post I think is dumb, I rate it dumb. So sue me.
While you're an idiot, the residents of this thread should really stop crying about ratings. If you actually care about the tiny image someone left on your post then you're a worse person than MacTrekkie will ever be. It's the same reason why I hardly ever rate posts here and never like anything on facebook, ratings/likes are simply an excuse not to think of something interesting to say.
I want one so bad! but how different are they from an over clocked 260 216 anyway.
Hardware illiteracy content.
Hardware illiteracy content.
More like you incapable to comprehend a basic post. It's a 20% performance gain. I know that they are architecturally different and that the 460 is dx11 capable. Do you want me do deliver a whole fucking encyclopaedia as a supplement every time i post or can you stop assuming shit that is never implied? It was piss obvious that the question was more relating to whether the performance gain and extra features was worth the money. The fuck is wrong?
The people at Best Buy were able to sell my mom a wall outlet to USB power converter for an MP3 player she was buying. It is completely unnecessary because it charges when you plug it into the computer.
I wonder will SLI'ing a GTX260 with 1Gb of Vram will be better (and cheaper) than a GTX280. Btw, My father gave me an important lecture today. He said, If your battery is on the laptop, and its full. Don't plug it into the wall, the cells will get weaker, thus, shortening the battery life. Well, I agree with this. But the problem is, The godamm laptop dosen't even have the battery plugged in. also, he calls the PSU a Power Pack. We had an argument before and he keep on calling it the Power Pack, I was actually confused. He pointed the PSU and he said 'That, That's the power pack'. I replied 'Dad, thats a PSU'. Then he shouted 'No, Thats a POWER PACK!'. A few days later he calls it the Power Supply, which I am okay with. Power Pack sounds like something from the 80's.
Hardware illiteracy content.
no? he's asking how much of a difference there is in performance why are people so desperate to get content in this thread? who gives a shit if it dies for a bit, I'd rather that than idiotic accusations like this and obviously fake stories
Virginia
Then it must be a different idiot you know.
Hardware illiteracy content.
Yes, You are.
It's not really Macs that I hate, it's the people who use them.
There are just as many stupid people that use PCs. The majority of users on both platforms are stupid. However, there are equally savvy Mac users. Don't stereotype.
There are just as many stupid people that use PCs. The majority of users on both platforms are stupid. However, there are equally savvy Mac users. Not computer illiteracy, but holy shit. http://www.frys.com/product/6028118 OEM. 64 Bit. Holy shit.
The people at Best Buy were able to sell my mom a wall outlet to USB power converter for an MP3 player she was buying.
Except for that pesky, "Away from the computer" syndrome that occurs when some people travel or are in a place without a handy computer to plug into.
Why would anyone leave their computer? This idea baffles me. [editline]21st November 2010[/editline]
He just thinks that because All the mac morons are more "out there" while the PC Idiots just don't talk about it.
Yet when you get one on either side of the 'argument' started then no matter which it is they sound pretty fucking stupid. I know, I've done it before.
Why would anyone leave their computer? This idea baffles me.
To eat food.
To eat food.
That's what pizza rolls and mountain dew are for :hurr:
A lot of foods are easily consumed while operating an electronic device such as a personal computer, not just fast food. I've eaten omelettes so many times while watching something on Youtube.
That's what pizza rolls and mountain dew are for :hurr:
Mountain Dew, Monster, and Coca-Cola.
This one time I put a trojan in someone's Kernal. *gets on a bike and wheelies off into the sunset*
This one time I put a trojan in someone's Kernal. *gets on a bike and wheelies off into the sunset*
I'll keep this in mind.
