Never had problems with "exploits."
Because they are not so common
The tabs and quicklinks in IE are easy to manage and use for me, I didn't find it the same way with other browsers.
They are the same.
And honestly I like the plain look of IE, firefox and google chrome feel childish when I use it.
Oh wow. "Childish" [editline]30th November 2010[/editline]
No one ever mentions Opera. Its a damn good web browser.
It is, but I like Firefox because of addons like ABP and WOT.
Never had problems with "exploits." The tabs and quicklinks in IE are easy to manage and use for me, I didn't find it the same way with other browsers. And honestly I like the plain look of IE, firefox and google chrome feel childish when I use it. I'm not trying to insult anyone, or start a "browser battle" because I know most of you disagree with me :/
Problems with IE: Very slow renderer, very slow Javascript engine. Very poor standards compliance - does not work well with all sites Very, very poor security (Secunia has issued 17 advisories for IE8, 10 for Firefox 3.6, and 2 for Chrome 7. IE8 is the only one that has not issued patches for all their advisories, with 5 well-known significant exploits still open) Need I go on?
And honestly I like the plain look of IE, firefox and google chrome feel childish when I use it.
I don't exactly see how Firefox looks childish compared to IE.
And honestly I like the plain look of IE, firefox and google chrome feel childish when I use it.
The great thing about Firefox is that you can customize the UI. Pretty close aside from the fact that IE8 fucked up the "View Image" rendering.
In my honest opinion, IE8 is pretty damn slow, and it likes to crash alot.
And honestly I like the plain look of IE, firefox and google chrome feel childish when I use it.
uh ever since the release of IE7 IE's UI has been legendarily retarded, not to mention ugly throughout its entire life cycle They're only just fixing it just now with IE9, and it's still not as good as the alternatives.
Well sorry you're all butthurt about what browser I use and what my opinion it is. I've never had a problem that hasn't occured on other browsers, so I don't get why it matters
I use Internet Explorer and I've never had any problem with it, ever. It's always fast, always smooth, and has features I like. Why the fuck does everyone dig on it? I've tried Firefox, Google Chrome. I don't like them at all.
try opera
I have been motivated to try the Opera 11 beta. But man, I friggin love firefox. [editline]30th November 2010[/editline] What are some good extensions for Opera?

[editline]30th November 2010[/editline] What are some good extensions for Opera?
That's the fun part, Opera didn't have extensions until version 10, so there aren't any around. :ninja:
That's the fun part, Opera didn't have extensions until version 10, so there aren't any around. :ninja:
They tried to include everything with the browser instead. I mean, it's even got a basic Torrent client built-in.
**Code** and set it to run fullscreen
Perfect and other good one's?
If you want one you can just leave up on the screen (as opposed to having them run it), try this (can't actually test it ATM, on a BSD machine):
@echo off echo "United States Strategic Missile Command - Nuclear Weapons System" echo "Username: ******" echo "Password: ***************" echo "Login accepted." echo "> launch" echo "Beginning pre-launch tests... tests complete." echo "Beginning fueling sequence... complete." echo "Select target region:" echo "1) Africa 2) Asia 3) Australia 4) Europe 5) North America 6) South America" echo "> 3" echo "Select target city: " rem I'm too lazy to look up cities in Australia right now, replace this with some echo "Calculating trajectories... done" echo "This action requires a second commander for authorization." echo "> Override" echo "Override accepted." echo "Beginning countdown... launch complete." echo "Detonation in 15 minutes, 31 seconds."
Once you plug in, say, your actual location, it'll scare them.
Is there a command for when it starts up, it's already in fullscreen?
Is there a command for when it starts up, it's already in fullscreen?
http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch001049.htm or http://www.vistax64.com/general-discussion/205741-how-make-batch-file-run-fullscreen.html either one should work
GOLD! I've been faking bluescreens with reg query, now I have something that makes a legit looking fullscreen!
I'm not all that familiar with Windows scripting, how would you fake a bluescreen with reg query?
I'm not all that familiar with Windows scripting, how would you fake a bluescreen with reg query?
Probably just random spam making it seems like the system is dumping the memory or something
I'm not all that familiar with Windows scripting, how would you fake a bluescreen with reg query?
Set it to color 1f. Start Reg Query HKLM /s. Illiterates can't tell the difference :v:
This one doesn't work it just starts then finishes.
Just add pause >nul in the end
This one doesn't work it just starts then finishes.
Forgot the pause at the end. Like I said - I'm on an OpenBSD machine right now, I can't test DOS scripts.
Forgot the pause at the end. How about placeing pauses in the countdown? like 10 pause one sec 9 and so on?
