I think i did good today, saw someone in my class looking at alienware laptops, so i told him about how its high price because of the case/brand and reccomended some decent hardware for the same price which he could do a custom build with. Adzter do good :D?

Da, Adzter do good.
Just had this long chat with my friend:
Ehhh, it's not that bad. You were giving him the wrong paths for the Steam folder if he had a 64bit version of Windows. You also told him to go to drive D, which is typically the DVD drive in most systems.
Helping people through chat is somewhat worse than helping people through the phone, though the ability to paste links is quite useful.
You have to admit, the Titleizer script gives Fatfatfatty a worthy title.
What title does it give him? Is it related to the Ubuntu incident?

Which I would like to reiterate, was completely his fault.

That doesn't even need re-iterating, it was painfully obvious enough.
It's either something with the Ubuntu incident or the whole loop thing that started everything for him.
GIANT general stupid illiteracy From me and my brother, we were having trouble with what we thought was a video display problem, which eventually ended up in us bending about 7 pins on the CPU, guess what the problem was.
The 12v 4pin on this psu was doubled and we didnt know that we could split it. we spent about 5 Hrs troubleshooting.

How did you get from Video Display, which would involve troubleshooting the monitor and graphics card, to fucking with the CPU?

Damn. I need to get my old account unlocked. It had a giant red "The answer is install Linux, now what was the question" title. Officially, even, not via mod.

Update.
am i the only one that skims through this thread pausing only at posts that have funny ratings?
Funny thing is, some idiot flagged me too.
Nevertheless, I don't give a shit. If post blocking scripts based off of avatars are not dumb enough, community based ones where anyone can add entries makes it even dumber.
Reinstall the script.
I was sitting in a civics class today and I overheard a conversation that went something like this:
DellFag: Yeah so this kid was throwing out his laptop and gave it to me, guess what it was? A Dell XPS!
MacFag: Oh I bet that's a nice computer!
DellFag: Yeah this thing is beast! It's got a huge screen, shit's awesome, and I get it FREE! I would never pay that much for a computer.
MacFag: I would!
They continued on, and it really was a sausage fest. Then a girl threatened to punch the DellFag in the face.
They're both faggots but one happens to love Dell computers, and the other happens to be a Mac user.
The thing that gets me about this Dell kid is that he spent an entire class hour bragging up his own Dell XPS laptop to try and sell it to somebody, after spending an entire term complaining how it doesn't work and asking people for free RAM.
This same kid, last year, asked the teacher for a video card because he complained that his current one wasn't working right. He came back saying it was the same card, a low-end, budget, video card for workstations running Word and Excel. Nevermind the fact it was a shitty card to begin with, the kid had never installed drivers for it.

Yeah, I was kind of a dick a few years back. I think I got perma'd on that account twice.
On the bright side, if I ever figure out the password, I get a second Gold Member account.

What plan is that?
Yesterday I was talking to one of my friends while I was working in Revit as she was modeling in 3dsMax. I asked her if she did any sort of custom content for games like Hl2, Portal etc. She didn`t know what I was talking about so I ended up teaching her through the rest of the class period about Valve/modding/PC gaming in general and I was delighted to find out that she already played Portal. I gave her copy of the Orange Box and she friended me on Steam after she made an account. :v:

I don't know anyone in Norway with download limits, didn't even know it existed until I started to browse Facepunch.
